These 2.5 inline sixes from BMW where the best... Super smooth and super slick sound. I had a rare 2.5 Si X3 (M-Sport Kit) back in the day. A bit of a looker and a gem of a motor. In this iteration the 2.5 i6 had evolved into a bit of a monster for the time! Developing 160+ KW, being just naturally aspirated. An Engine which has won many international awards. But man, what a glorious smooth sound. I kick myself to this day that I've ever sold it! It was the smoothest running vehicle I've ever owned and if i could have it back, I'd take it back in a heart-beat. Some nights I actually still dream of driving it, even though I've sold it almost 8 years ago. Yet, those are some of by better dreams, t.b.h. (And the service intervals where only every 25'000KM - Not so expensive per KM, as many thought at the time!)

Man you've always had special cars. I remember the VR6 and now you got a bauer😱.That blue Mtech1 bakkie is beautiful. Way better than the white in my opinion. Beautiful cars nontheless.
This is very cool..... but I'm gonna step in here and get technical...is it a real bucky if the tail doesnt fold down?! or is it just a car without a roof on the back?!Or a car with an open boot?!
Why...well thats not a question to ask...We South Africans have a motor history of unique cars and car builds...from the 70s 80s 90s from Ford Chev to Opel BMW to Alfa ...So being a 90s car its natural to make something unique but in this case not a one off because many have done this the world over...stated in the comments too...Proudly South Africa 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
Hi there, I have an e30 and I would like to cut the roof off to make it a convertible… please tell me what the legal requirements are for this modification… and did you have to go through any procedures with the traffic department?
