Brother You are a Bold driver. respect for not backing off and going for it. that's how you do. I have raced all my life e30, merc 2.5_16 etc and pushed hard i would of done the exact same way. Great car setup and you know that vehicle very well. ✌
Nice when everything goes as planned. Very nice build right down to the tires. Crazy fast through the curves without much drift or squeals . Sticky and firm rules the day.
All I can say about this is - respect! As an aside just watch those lines they take, I know for a fact a lower powered car can often beat a much more powerful one through the twisty stuff, like these guys or gals showed. Well straight line stuff is for drag racing, it's all about power, and the skill not to kill youself that way. I do miss my E30...
Morje , gut gefahren , nix driften im Adenauer Forst , wie so manche Bumskiste , gut gefahren , vor allem mit der ,, alten 👍👍👍Kiste , du kennst den Ring , Gruß vom Eifler
I have 324td. Some people hate it or even don't consider it as a BMW (because it's diesel kleklekle etc.) but it's fun for me. Definately not a race engine, though with appropriate pump it can spit ~300+ HP, but for a short periods due to cylinder head prone to cracking if overheated. Anyways I like it and I don't want anything heavier and bigger for a daily drive/daily drift vehicle.
Did you happen to pay attention to what he was passing? Trucks and bone stock economy hatches. Just because someone is driving a Porsche doesn't mean they can drive it. Open your eyes. He was the only one at the track who came to do work.
He wouldn't have made it without a brave pilot. His contribution is immense ...75kg+ to E30 weight. And yes - 911 drivers, were amateurs with cars on credit (sunny Sunday, let's go to Nürburgring, I'll have my car spa in the afternoon, and psychoterapist soon after).
I'd love to know what Powerplant and drivetrain you're using. The car sounds great! I had an 89 325is that I drove around town like a racecar and never got above the speed limit lol. Low power cars are great for that! Amazing video man!
Broer. Lekker man. Ek het ook enetjie. Die spinners wil hom met alle mag en krag koop. Nah. Ek dink ń stock 325i met handrat gaan nog skaarser as ń M3 raak.
nice drive 👏 didn’t push to the limit, the car could run faster! with a six-speed sequential gearbox it would be fantastic 👍😎 big advantage by braking, heavy new cars struggle. I love E30 , great car ❤️💪
Vom Schub und Sound her hätte ich fast vermutet, dass ein S38B38 hier am Werk ist. Auch, weil die Schaltpunkte so gewählt werden. Ist es tatsächlich ein S50B32?
6 cylinder that narrows it down 😅 no way that was a stock e30 M engine? wayyy quick.. didn't hear a turbo.. want to know what powerplant is moving that weapon
Nice drive, I would offer one suggestion to your suspension setup for that sort of track is slightly more front camber and toe out will give you better turn in. It was on the limit of understeer in a few spots where you had to turn in a bit harder to make the corner which obviously unsettles the cars loading mid corner. From another e30/s50b32 owner with abit of race experience.
Generally speaking E30s do respond better to slightly more toe out setups, at least that is what i always believed to be thcase since it is a front heavy car no?
@@hussamjamil4980 The facelift E30 convertible with m40 (stock) is 52:48 (front:rear). I put a m50b32 in mine and it's still the same 52:48! I only moved the battery to the trunk, added a 6-speed gearbox and LSD and in total the car gained 44kg (1288kg).
@@johndelooze2845 I had that set up once but the 3.15 gave up on me , its a great combo for highway speed but i think the best sprint combo is the zf with 3.73 offline acceleration is great and really pulls even in the redline..Doing 120km/h in second speed is easily achievable with getrag 260 and 3.46 fd combo , however i dont know how it would perform in top gear on the highway, i reached 160 km/h easily with that but had a feeling it was running out of power gradually beyond that, never had the chance to press it further to see how it would go but i could be wrong.
6:08 and 6:23 you can see the Porsche easily pulling away but you were the better driver. I´m afraid that you don´t stand a chance against an equal driver in his GT3
you can`t compare an e30 from the 1980s with a modern porsche 911 gt3. That just doensn`t work out. The GT3 was made only for this racetrack and also developed there. The e30 on the other hand usually was/is a daily driver with some sporty genes inside it. So ofcourse it doesn`t have a chance against a gt3...
6:00 Porsuke: Is that a... e30? 6:05 AE30 looks at passenger: Ready for a meal? This one looks tasty. Passenger: We just ate a smurf nah? AE30: We going for the pork bun. Porsuke: This can't be, there's no way I'm losing to a old e-thirdy! I'm the #1032527 driver of the Nurburgring Redsuns! 6:40 Good run, he didn't really block/hold you back for long. I have the same Sparco land gloves blk/red. Many of us do but they sick thats why.
I'm always surprised when I see a car built to this level being driven by somebody that hasn't learned to rev match. It doesn't bother me, it's just confusing.
Is the title of the video implying Porsche owns 'for breakfast'? Or is the apostrophe there to denote a plural (more than one Porsche for breakfast)? If the latter, this is a completely incorrect use of an apostrophe. Please use an apostrophe only for an abbreviation or a possessive. *NEVER EVER USE AN APOSTROPHE FOR A PLURAL*. Thanks.
"Porsche's for breakfast" my ass. Drive BMW my self for many years and love them, especially the "older" ones. Porsche is a couple of classes higher! These Porsche's didn't have balls or skill... you have ;)
amazing car, but why are you moving your hands around like that... You are not in control in the same way as if you kept the hands steady... plus you are losing information about feed back..
@@vannigiovannigio8861 oh an e30 with an sr swap. Well at least that’s the one that goes spinny. I have always rev matched since then so the civic eg hasn’t spun out
GOOD DRIVE AND CAR BUT NEVER SAY THE THING ABOUT BREAKFAST AT THE PORSCHE'S HOUSE, RESPECT THE RING KING S. BELLOF 6:11:13 - PORSCHE 956 AND THE TRACK RECORD -> PORSCHE 919 EVO.
