Awe man this is so good, love wagons, especially E39 wagons and what you did here is sweet, I’ve driven with welded diffs before and other than drifting they absolutely suck everywhere else, LSD for the win!

Clean e39. Gotta love a 540/6. I’ve owned 3. 2 were e34 540/6 m sports. The m60/62 are under appreciated power plants and they have potential, it’s just on the more expensive side to build. The best mods for the e34 chassis is definitely to swap in a 3.15lsd from an early e32 750i which is a direct bolt-in once you swap the driveshaft flange. That diff, and a ltw single mass flywheel makes such a big difference. The dual mass is like 33lbs and over $1,000 to replace with the stock one and extremely foolish because not only are they heavy as hell but the membrane inside of it breaks apart and makes it shake and give you all kinds of drivetrain vibrations. I like what you did with the happy handle. Clean install. Time to dye or swap the interior to black and that would nearly complete this touring. Can’t believe you paid $700 for it.

I actually have a e39 wagon in white and I always wanted to change to coil overs do you guys have a video or recommended coil overs for the touring model?

Love the wagon...hate drifting...but to each their own. It did hurt a little bit seeing you weld that diff...lol.

How do you find running the chassis mounted shifter on stock engine mounts? Does it ever pop out of gear? Considering running one on my M5.

Upper rear seat backs are Like 100#s, easy weight reduction when on track. Did you keep rear air or go springs?

I been looking for weeks for a angle kit for the e39 anyone have any tips for angle?

Do anything to get more angle? I know it's not easy seeing it has a steering box. Just curious if y'all tried or figured out something. I've been trying to on my 540. Not an easy task.
