In this video I remove the BMW engine and transmission to make way for the LS and 4L80E in Pete's Draggin' Wagon. This is a big step for the project and there's no turning back now! The vehicle is a 2002 BMW 525iT. Also known as an E39 Wagon.

Keep it up Pete ! I love it. I will be swapping a e39 as well. Thanks! My main concern is the wiring of the ls. I’m sure you’ll help!!!

The wiring isn’t going to be too bad. I’ll document that. The a/c will be tough though. I have a couple of ideas for that. What’s you plan for driveshaft and rear diff? I’m still up in the air on this one.

This one was leaking from everywhere! I just never fixed it because I have been planning on pulling the engine for three years!
