In this video we will show you the other variation of xdrive / transfer case actuator , that is used in E60 / E61 / E90 / E91 / E92 . Most of the videos showing the fail of the plastic gear inside the actuator in X series of BMWs , but this time its not that , its the shaft that is failed . The gear is made from metal and its a lot harder tо be worn out . The code that we were getting : 5462 Servo motor or coupling force too much .

How do you know if this is going i have a 330xi code 5dec transfer case malfunction also start up no light but when I drive stumble then drive fines but codes come up

Don't need to remove the shield, you can drop the bracket that sits in-between it and the heat shield and access it much easier from there

Nope... That's probably the rear differential bearings... Are you at around 200 000 km?

hello .. i got bmw 330xi and take the actuator motor .. and i open but everything is in good condition .. but look like the gears have not been moving ... but they are good.. battery volt is good. any idea what could be ???

Is the actuator moving when the ignition is on , with the actuator removed from his place ( just hanging on the plug ) ?

Thanks for your answer I have the software Rheingold ISTA D, I read faul code in VTG module: (Code 54c8 VTG Classification Resistor). Could be servo motor actuator problem ? thanks

Is it safe to lower the exhaust like that? I'm concerned that it will break.

There should be damping element right after the DPF , witch will allow you to lower down the exhaust , without any risk of damaging it .

Crank Is the damping element on the 2008 BMW 535xi model with the N54 engine?

Not sure , about this engine . Its pretty rare to see it on E60 , in our country . You should check when you have access .

A little pricey for the gears only, you can get a brand new whole thing for around $150...

Поредното готино видео Браво!!! Един въпрос моля... свързан е с actuador отново,но до колкото разбирам на ТУРБОТО. Мотор N57N Изненадата дойде днес... на 1800mp няма тяга и така до изключване на моторо,после изглежда че мотора заработи отново добре. Insta d обяви една грешка... 003F57 DDE регулятор давления наддува Въпроса ми е actuadora тази част се заменя или се заменя цялото Турбо. Светлина в тунела има ли? Отговаря ли за геометриата на турбото,не е често срещан проблем 208000 км. Благодаря

Мерси Павлине ! Руския не ми е сред силните страни . Управлението на геометрията на турбината е през електронен блок закачен директно за нея или през вакуумен актуатор отделно от нея . Зависи дали си с две или една турбина . Тези с електрония блок който е монтиран на тях се рециклират , но там се сваля цялата турбина и се праща , всичко комплект . Трябва да провериш с кой тип турбина си ти .

Павел,Павел съм. Със сигурност мога да кажа,че съм с една турбина точно под вуздушния филтър,но производител на торбината както и сериен номер в ЕТК не мога да разбера нищо но днес ще взема камерата (ендоскоп) и ще гледам внимателно ако е възможно да разбера с що за actuador стои и силно се надявам да е от тези който се менят без демонтация на турбото... благодаря и приятен ден

@@gari4kata Да . Но имай предвит , че не е само да го развиеш и да завиеш новия . Ако искаш да стане както трябва , трябва да се стендова новия актуатор заедно с турбината , на стенд .
