Had the same problem on an X5 just Like this, did the same steps and didn’t see the coin in that slot. The next day while driving with the centre idrive and shifter section unscrewed, the passenger caught the coin as it rolled into the slot and pulled it out. Thanks man, your video solved the rolling coin problem and saved us 400 dollars!! . We used a flat head screw driver to pry the centre idrive panel off, and an allen (hexagonal) wrench key as we didnt have a torx screw but it still came out perfectly. Thats all!

Thanks. Had to replace the PARK switch. Once you remove the center console, the mounting screws and connector are right there.

Is there a fuse in there my green dot on shifter don't come on

I want to change the P (park) on the top of the shifter, I ordered the replacement button, but how can I remove the old P button?

Do you know of a way to remove the center armrests on a 2016? I've looked and look and can't find anything. I want to wrap the 2 aluminum trim to the sides of the console and they won't come out unless I remove the center armrests.

When I am shifting gear I am hearing a sound . Can I know why ?
