You know if you dont have the phone module on a 2005 e90 do you need to purchase a mic or do they all come with them as standard ? I have all the bottons for the phone functionality but I dont have the phone option in my BMW head unit... I assume this will be a problem. I've just ordered one of these units but the full touch screen one. Im hoping to get a mic with it...

What a great job on the video !! I noticed your stock radio has the M.O.S.T. wiring in the factory harness as does mine. Are you getting error codes of any type or did you do something to bypass it or turn it off somehow to avoid problems ? I'm installing an Eonon GA8165A unit. Again...AWESOME video !!

Silly question, but why didn't you use the same route for the microphone and GPS antenna and take them both up the same A pillar?

Hi, Can you please help me. I fitted my new Eonon system a while back to my BMW E90 (2008 model), and everything works great on it, except my Air Conditioning is not working correctly, for example, the air is very weak coming out of the front vents, and when the AC temperature is turned down to its lowest setting and the pressure is turned up, the weak air is hot. The car does not need recharged with gas, and BMW has informed me that it may be the Eonon unit (or unit settings) which are affecting the AC and climate control. The original Climate Control panel is connected to the Eonon unit, and the heated-seat buttons etc work fine, including via the unit, but the Air Con is not working correctly. Can you please provide any advice, or links to photos or videos on this. Many Thanks,

The wire under the seat that goes to nowhere is actually used to keep the battery charged during shipping of the vehicle! Interesting, right?
