Haha thanks for watching! Trust me, maintenance isn't really as bad as you think it is with the 335i. If you want more reliability, I would suggest looking into getting the N55 335i. They still produce power with gainful mods itself, just not as much as the N54 does. N54 delivers more power, granted you will lose reliability. I can assure you if you buy an N55 335i, you won't be disappointed!

Bro trust me get the 335. A couple months of owning the 328 your gonna be wishing you just spent the money on the 335. They’re both bmws and are gonna give you issues at some point but just make sure you get one that was taken care of and has plenty of service records. A lot of people just buy lemons without doing the research and just say bmws are unreliable.

I have a 335xi and I love my car. It’s had it’s problems but I when I got it, It had two previous owners. Nothing I could do about that. After all the work, as long as you do the simple stuff and not dog the car, you won’t be disappointed. Currently working on the body (just because the power is enough to satisfy me right now) then i’m going under the hood.

RWD on a Xdrive car it feels to pull slower like a lot slower atleast on a 2007 328xi n52 Manuel AWD is much faster at take off

What year is yours? I tried the same with an 01’ and it didn’t work

So all you did was disconnect the front wheels from driving, your transfer case is still doing work...

Hey man I’m trying to do the same. Do I need a cover for the transfer case when I take out the drive shaft? From my experience in American cars removing the shafts makes the fluid leak out of the transfer case? Appreciate your input. Thanks 👍🏻👍🏻

Bruhhh…. Lmfao Manuel is for drifting. I have a 328xi 07 n52 Manuel and no you don’t need a paid app to turn it into RWD all you need to do is unbolt and remove your front propeller drive shaft and it’s RWD…

Nope! Once you flash it, you can unplug it until you need to flash it back to awd

You can put a rear lsd on an xdrive drive train. Just be sure the gearing won't mess with your transmission. Otherwise, having xdelete shouldn't cause any issues. It's just only telling the transfer case to turn off the clutch that engages the front wheels.

Having xDelete will not remove the code. I would definitely advise you try to get your transfer case fixed

What did you end up doing? Mine has a grinding sound in the T-case and I found a $400 part for the AWD motor but am considering just deleting the AWD action since I also have another AWD car and don't need the BMW for that.

I've had xdelete for 10 months now and no signs of issues with my rear diff, transfer case, or any bushings. I do some crazy drifting here and there, and no issues so far! As for the headlights, I got them off of Amazon. I have a video on them if you would like to watch! Although they're out of stock right now as a lot of people have been buying them haha

Do you know if the xdelete leaves the rear differential as an Open differential, or does it make both wheels spin at the same time as like a limited slip differential ? So, are you One-Wheel drifting?

@@premium2554 I did not find my answer, however I did find out that early e90's had a mechanical type differentials while later models began using the brakes as to modulate the open differential. To better explain this, in my 2010 model, if I were to add an LSD on the rear, it would burn out my rear brakes unless I coded them out. BUT of I had a 2006 or 2007 model, I would be able to add an LSD without an issue. So my educated guess is that with Xdelete mod, you would be one wheel spinning unless you added an LSD, and I believe it is safe to assume that you would burn out the brakes in newer models. I hope this helps more than it may confuse you. I am more than happy to continue to share my opinions/knowledge with you if you would like. I recently sold my e90 and bought me an 06 X5 4.8is, but I did do a lot of research on the e90s while i owned it.

Xdelete doesn't control what the tcu does for your transmission. You would want xHP's transmission tune if you want it to hold the gear and bounce off of Rev limiter

You can just buy the kdcan cable and then buy a usb a to a lightning connector to hook it up to your iOS device

That's not right especially since a buddy of mine literally has an iPhone and was able to plug it into his 335i using the same kdcan cable lol. I'm pretty positive it works for iOS devices

I'm a 1000% for sure it does not. I've had this for almost two years now with zero issues. If you pulled the fuse that powers your front diff, then yes that will mess up everything, (speaking from personal experience).
