Hi! Thx buddy! I just put on the M Performance silencer. But to get the crackling is more about how you drive the car. You need to tap the gas pedal slightly after getting of the gas. Similar to heal and toe motion.

Maverick, I have the same car, BMW E92 325i (218HP) and also black and automatic, I have ordened the same exhaust, the BMW performance, they will install it next week, what did you do for the crackling sound ? is it original with the BMW performance ?

ImeImean mine is a manual and the crackling comes when you get off the gas and let the engine do the breaking. I’m not sure if you can get the same amount of crackling noise with an automatic..

I got the BMW E92 325i with 218hp 3L, but it's tuned to 265hp. I need that exhaust :D

If you change the gear diferential from 3.23 to 3 73 from auto it won't be slow

What did you do to make it sound so nice and it has not been like others I've heard? I love that sound

Nothing extraordinary, just changed the muffler to M-performance and thats it. Now, to really make it sound like this you need to rev it out and then tap the gaspedal as the engine revs go down. Thats what makes the crackling sound. Thats it. ;)

it´s on par with what they state in the service manual. i drive mainly in the city and it´s somewhere around 12-13l/100km

Very cool car. I bought it today. I hope I checked it good enough, since it’s the first time I bought a car.. Are there any things that broke down on yours? Or what you know off which are weak points with this beemer?

congrats! just put on this cat-back exhaust and you´ll love it even more! ;) i didn´t have any problems with it during the three years that i had it. and i haven´t heard of any specific problems related to this model.

Hi dude, I have an E92 325i N52 Manual and I'm planning to buy an M Performance exhaust. When I saw your videos I event want it more! Really great sound especially the crackling sound. My question is, did you just replace the rear silencer and that's it? I was told that for this engine 160KW, there is no M Performance full exhaust system (from the very front), only the rear silencer. Thank you

ToxiD8 you have the same spec car as I do so you’ll get the same sound! And I can assure you that it’s even better in person. I did only replace the rear silencer. Cut it off and put this one on. Pretty simple job.

Hope it will have the crackling sound as yours because I saw more videos with this exhaust and engine and the crackling wasnt that intensive as yours, who knows why.

You have to tap the gas pedal a bit after you stop accelerating. As the engine breaking starts you just tap the gas pedal and the magic happens! ;) the best effect is around 3000 rpm in pretty much all gears.

thx! I´m not sure of the codename for the rims, but these are the CSL rims that came with the car when I bought it. i have 235-35-19 upfront and 265-30-19 in the back, Goodyear Eagle F1 tires.
