Hi! Thx buddy! I just put on the M Performance silencer. But to get the crackling is more about how you drive the car. You need to tap the gas pedal slightly after getting of the gas. Similar to heal and toe motion.
Notice any problems now? I bought a 2016 factory and want a slip on without having to tune. Heard it cause choppy throttle down low without tune though.
I havent used this one a whole lot. I bought SC Project Oval carbon instead and updated with the Aprilia race map. The throttle was a bit sluggish on low rpm with the thunderslash, yes.
Satyen Narke to be honest you cant go wrong with either of them. The SC is a bit cheaper but overall quailty, sound and looks are top notch. I bought mine fr Sc Project directly and I can’t say enough good things about their customer service. I love mine! But i dont have anything bad to say about akra. It’s just personal preference.
thx! but I had to use some kind of music because the background sound of some of the clips was pretty bad. and when you only can sample free music than the quality gets compromised. maybe turn down the volume when the music is on?!
Very cool car. I bought it today. I hope I checked it good enough, since it’s the first time I bought a car.. Are there any things that broke down on yours? Or what you know off which are weak points with this beemer?
congrats! just put on this cat-back exhaust and you´ll love it even more! ;) i didn´t have any problems with it during the three years that i had it. and i haven´t heard of any specific problems related to this model.

Nothing extraordinary, just changed the muffler to M-performance and thats it. Now, to really make it sound like this you need to rev it out and then tap the gaspedal as the engine revs go down. Thats what makes the crackling sound. Thats it. ;)
#91Maverick I see. :) I just got this pipe, and I am excited to put this on my Tuono and ride around. It says online that this slip-on needs a remap or Race ECU, so I was confused. How long do you ride with it each day? Are there any issues with running this with stock ECU?
I haven´t had any issues what so ever riding with this pipe, except for to noise level. It´s soooo loud that it gets annoying after a while. I haven´t done any long runs (4h+) with it. And without the db-killer I made it last for about 15mins.. :)
#91Maverick got it, in that case I’ll put the slip on without a race ECU, and I’ll give it a shot. I was just scared I might ruin the O2 sensors or ruin the valves. Also “by how long” - I meant how many months have you had this as your default pipe, aside from track days :)
Tackar! Jag håller med, de nya motorerna med turbo dödar ljudet. Rak sexa o det metalliska ljudet fr e46 o e92 är wunderbart! ;) Jag kanske kommer o sälja systemet separat då jag funderar på att byta bil (till en kombi då lillan börjar bli stor). Letar i nuläget efter nåt vettigt.
#91Maverick Jag är seriöst intresserad om du beslutar att sälja det! Köpte nyligen en 325i kombi med m sportpaket i leemansblå som förstabil. Bilen var rolig att köra och tog kurvor som en sportbil men insåg väldigt snabbt att ljudet var långt ifrån vad man kunde önska från en så fin motor. Funderade lite på att göra muffler eller resonator delete, men efter att ha sett denna videon så är skillnaden på ljudet dag o natt. Blev kär direkt! Man inser vilken potential BMW förstörde med att sätta sådana rejäla ljuddämpare på bilen som orginalsystemet har. Väljer man att ta bort dämparen helt och hållet låter det tyvärr lite mycket raggarbil och inte alls lika jämt.
yeah, no problems at all. but the sound is ridiculous. especially without the baffles. thats pure MotoGP racing sound. you can´t ride with it on longer runs.
not really. i had to adjust it a bit after fitting it for the first time. but it was no biggie. and no issues using it! i love it and it suits the bike´s character.

thx! I´m not sure of the codename for the rims, but these are the CSL rims that came with the car when I bought it. i have 235-35-19 upfront and 265-30-19 in the back, Goodyear Eagle F1 tires.
