Since a few comments have asked… Yes one bulb per headlight illuminates both halos. This is why the inner halo will always be slightly brighter than the outer due to where the bulb is positioned by factory. If you want both halos to be equally super bright, the only way would be to cut open your headlight and install custom individually illuminated halos which is a lot more work and more expensive, and then seal and glue your headlight back together. I have no experience with this and am too lazy for that lol. To this day, the bulbs in this video still look and work great. The seller I got these from on eBay is “wfyb”. The exact title to these are “H8 120W 6 Sides CREE LED Angel Eyes Halo Ring Head”. However, this was 2 years ago so by now they may have brighter bulbs available. On my M5, I have the LUX angel eyes which are 180 watts but are 6x the price. They are almost too bright for my liking and the ones in this video gave me the exact look I was looking for at a REALLY great price.
Can you share the link to these ? I didn’t hear a mention of the brand or price. My low beam went out today on my 335 and I’m going be replace them. Thanks for the help and the video.
Thanks man, I don’t know if these were the exact ones but they’re all pretty much the same if you type in “Bmw e92 led angel eyes” on eBay… it could have been these here www.ebay.com/itm/High-Power-Error-Free-CREE-BMW-E92-H8-120W-LED-Angel-Eyes-Halo-Ring-Light-Bulbs/191568830170?fits=Make%3ABMW&epid=872160215&hash=item2c9a645eda%3Ag%3AtC4AAOSwcL5XNlbq
Lovely lights! i got 1 question.... How come you turn on your Daily Lights on and both of Beam Lights are ON... On mine BMW E90 only 1 is on during day time and both during night time...
I’m not sure what you mean. When you have the daily/parking lights on, only your halos are on. When you turn on the headlights, the projector will come on. That same projector also does the high beams. The inner lamp only turns on when you make a turn
So did you only do the rings? Should I do the lo/hi beam and cornering lights to led too if they're halogen? Pretty sure most e92 335i came with halogens, but not sure if they're easily seen in daytime and night time? Btw, what lights are seen in daytime and night time (angel eyes, lo/hi beams, cornering lights)?
Yes I only did the angel eye rings only. I believe all 335s and M3s had projector headlights/angel eyes with the low and high beam being xenon but with halogen angel eyes. Corner lights are halogen but I don’t have any experience changing those to LED or haven’t seen them done but I’m sure would make a nice difference. During daytime only the angel eyes are on (if you choose so, this can be configured to be on or off via idrive). When you turn on the headlights, high or low beam, the corner lights come on and the angel eyes will also be on automatically.
Any wonky led with bad quality will cause interference, switched my brake lights to led and would always get static on my radio as I applied my brakes. Took me a year to put 2 and 2 together, I thought my radio had a bad ground
Mr halogen looks better. More angry more agressif like a panther so wild. Mr Led looks pretty but the outter ring doesn't appear clearly like in halogen and especially when the headlight is on. To each his own
I miss it when it was on 40s. Putting the 46s on it made it too difficult and annoying to drive everyday. I should have left it on 35s or the 40s, i miss that part of it
Yes, but on idrive cars you can set it up in the options if you want them to be on as daytime running lights or can have them off. Before I swapped to the LEDs, I had my halos off.
@@AlexGray Thank you brother!! Can I ask you for a favor? Can you check on your Ebay purchase history? Maybe you can tell me the seller? I will look for the same one. Thank you!!!!
The particular one I bought says this item no longer available but the seller is “wfyb” And the exact title is “H8 120W 6 Sides CREE LED Angel Eyes Halo Ring Head”
I don’t know for sure if this was the exact one but I just typed in “Bmw e92 led angel eyes” on eBay and a bunch of generic ones come up. www.ebay.com/itm/High-Power-Error-Free-CREE-BMW-E92-H8-120W-LED-Angel-Eyes-Halo-Ring-Light-Bulbs/191568830170?fits=Make%3ABMW&epid=872160215&hash=item2c9a645eda%3Ag%3AtC4AAOSwcL5XNlbq
I don’t know the exact ones I bought because they are all pretty generic, I just typed in e92 Bmw angel eyes on eBay. There are a bunch at different prices but I’ll link an example. www.ebay.com/itm/High-Power-Error-Free-CREE-BMW-E92-H8-120W-LED-Angel-Eyes-Halo-Ring-Light-Bulbs/191568830170?fits=Make%3ABMW&epid=872160215&hash=item2c9a645eda:g:tC4AAOSwcL5XNlbq
@@AlexGray why does it look like it flickers? I'm looking at buying these for mine as mine are standard like your left one but is it just my eyes or does it flicker? And would you suggest led or halogen white like the above comment?
