If I am not wrong, you used to have a BMW before you bought the Tenere and Honda ? What make you go back to BMW, big comfortable bike, also much more expensive
Thats right I had a 2013 LC R1200GS but sold it after 70000 km. Then I also started to do a lot gravel and tried some different bikes for that. Now I wanted again a bigger comfortable bike. But since I also will redo some dirt roads I bought a used Royal Enfield HImalayan.
The SOS button can't be a bad idea. I hope never needed. But are keyless bikes just another overcomplicated answer to a question nobody asked? Another thing to go wrong. And in the UK keyless vehicles are much easier for the professional thief to steal. I really think a lot of car design features end up on bikes. Or do bike owners want 2 wheeled cars? Just a keyless, please. Interesting watch, though. Ride safe 👍
It is quite convenient on a bike. How many times did I not prepare myself ready for a ride, put the gloves on, just to discover my ignition key is not in the bike but in my pocket :-) It make it less stressful. Maybe it will be easier to steal I dont know. The key has a unique code I think.
I’m going to Norway next year and I want to film it with a Gopro. I don’t want to have anything on my helmet only on my Bike. How have you done. And don’t the have anything like Gausthause or Pensionat like the have in Sweden and Danmark 🤔
Yes there is a lot of pensionats, motels and also cabins (hytter). There is many mounting options for mounting the a camera to your body or your bike. If you ride a naked bike a chestmount may be the right thing. And there is motorcycle mounting kits for GoPro to use. I now use an insta360 x4 mounted to my handlebar.
