Thanks for that man, just installed soft close on my car. It’s all done, the only thing left to do is to connect them to the fuse box, but I don’t have a clue how it is done. Any chances you have a video of that as well?

Sorry doesnt have, check documentation link in description of video. There is where wires need to be connected. In short, you need to route wires to rear fuse box and connect it to respective fuse. Every door has separate fuse.

Thank you for preparing this video! I saw this and decided to DIY install the soft close door feature on my f11 as well.👍 By the way, shouldn't the nut be M5 instead of M4? At least for the parts I purchased, the M5 was adequate. 1:26

Hey Peter, if I have the door wiring harness from the soft close car, do I still need to run the wiring or will it be plug n play?

As I understand well, you have door wiring, so wiring which is inside doors. Yes this will be plug&play but problem is that you're missing wiring from fuse box to all doors.

I have fuse already there, you do not need to program anything, only if you want you can add this option to VO.
