The new dashboards look like extremely low effort. BMW could have paid me half whatever they gave their interior designers to place a giant rectangle on the dash and saved some money.

@@OnTheRocks71 A lot of cars are looking bad with the giant screen, specially they way it's placed. The previous gen S-Class was the best way of doing 'two' big screens without making it look basic.

Even the b48 platform is a nice setup. Throw a tune and downpipe on it and itll move.

The 4 banger is slow as balls tho

B48 is defs a sweet spot, it’s still more than quick enough but u can actually enjoy all the power and get some good mpg still 😂, good on ya bro

When these drop into the 30s I’d absolutely consider buying one lol. Had an m240i and it was a blast but this seems like an even better weekend car.

Until 2013, they were still great cars with none of the DI turbo issues and hydraulic steering racks. Grab a used one like I did and cherish it.

Hey man. My first car I bought was a 2015 m235i when I was 21. I remember liking BMWs cuz I was in high school back when you were 7-8 years old and my friend was driving an 08 328i. Around that time is when the 4 series came out and so did the M4. I wanted and could afford the M4 but my dealer didn't have it and he had really convinced me of the M235i. I bought it and then realized the M235i was the number 1 car on car and driver magazine (the TOP AND NUMBER 1 CAR MAGAZINE EVER FOR DECADES) number 1 on the top 10 BEST list from 2015 to 2017. You can't imagine wanting an M4 to be a poser but choose the sensible M235i only to find out it was NUMBER 1 for 3 years IN A ROW (which even in 2015 I knew my car was voted number 1 and it just felt awesome) all of those years which I owned it. Got rid of it in 2018 and magically it was nowhere to be found in the top 10. Got out of cars for a while and came back trying to stupidly get a 2021 M240i lease takeover right as the M240i was 7 years old and it's life was done. But then out of nowhere I saw a car I never ever knew existed, and for a phenomenal price for a lease takeover. A black z4 m40i with magma red interior and all blacked out on the outside. Holy fk it was the MOST BEAUTIFUL AND STUNNING car I had ever seen of a BMW. It fixed EVERYTHING I HATED looks wise about my 235i. The front looks better, the headlights, the side profiles, but I especially HATED the m235i rear (the M2 Comp was decent thoigh and the best looking F series 2 series they came out with), and the z4 fixed that with the sexiest tail lights and an aggressive back with a quasi diffuser but not really, just sharp and aggressive and interior is stunning my ex wife's panties dropped so hard when she sat in my new z4 compared to my 235i we would drive in. I only got 2 or 3 compliments on my 235i and only when it was brand new. To this day nearly 3 years later I get about a compliment per day on my z4 (though I don't drive it much anymore no more than 20-30 miles a week). In one day I got 6 compliments in 2 hours. I let my family drive it they come back telling me they had multiple people even COPS stop to compliment the car. It also sounds well and is phenomenal. I agree the new M2 sucks, you want the best M2 get the M2 Comp, but I'm not happy with the new M240i either. For one, it's not on any top 10 list, like it's predecessor was for 3 years in a ROW and deservedly do, and it's not that pretty or unique to look at and kind of ruined why the M235i was voted number 1. But I get it your still young man. You need the extra seats but also want a nice coupe for the ladies. You can't take friends in an emergency in a z4. But then again, I don't want anyone ruining my back seats anyway lol. Plus I'm 30 now, and a pilot. Driving doest feel special anymore when you cruise over the normies and watch them stuck in traffic as you fly past them at over 105 knots indicated airspeed, or 142 knots groundspeed with good winds, that translates to 163 mph flying over you lol while normies below are going 5mph lol (but the actual "speedometer" aka airspeed indicator in my plane shows 105 and it's in nautical miles per hour not mph, and it has nothing to do with your speed over the ground, so while it shows 105 I'm really doing 140-170mph over you depending on winds, it's confusing I know that's why the stscks of books worth of knowledge and rules needed to become a pilot are in the thousands of pages worth of rules and material to know before your certified to fly lol)😂🎉

I have a 2020 and I eat most American muscle almost every single time. I live in North Florida with a whole lot of good ol boys in their challengers, mustangs etc. the look on their face when they get smoked like a cheap cigar was worth the price of the car

Couple of mods? My M40i has Bootmod3 tune, XHP, Eibach springs, fast road alignment, sports cat, Remus exhaust, Enkei wheels, Eventuri intake, Audiotec Fischer sound system and more. It’s faster, more comfortable, handles and sounds better than its already brilliant stock setup.

@@Largeone1968 ac snicher has a pack with suspension exhaust intake and tune. 400hp. Totally worth it and its not very expensive

@@illuminate4 Only reason they're bothering with a manual is because Toyota did the R&D to make it happen. Would be surprised if they use softer bushings and noise dampening to give it that classic direct-but-lifeless BMW feel
