You can visibly see from the tach and hear where the M1000 stops making power and how heavily restricted it is. Get “Uncle Brock” on the line.. I’m thinking you should put the penta-carbon full exhaust on this‼️🔥💪🏾
Well guys there you go. Shout out to 650ib the 38k stock M1000rr 176hp at rear wheel. Thank to government restriction. Now with a tune it make 203 HP at the rear wheel very impressive 👌
@@1KR_B never realized that. Got a guy I work with that has a 636 with a toce on it. It sounds incredible and pops/crackles alot. Didnt realize it didnt have that much gains. Thanks 🤝

Wow I am literally amazed by the power of m1000rr.......like the bike is reely reely stock yet she gave 203hp wow....I cant wait to see what more she gives after all the goodies she gon get.....I keenly followed how the hp was climbing in-between the gears and when I saw 192hp in gear 3 I threw my assurance to 210hp at gear 5 but I am not dissapointed....am waiting for more.
Even with all of these restrictions, these motorcycles are impressive machines. Literally no one here is going to get meaningful performance from these beasts.
the M1000 has the stock exhaust and exu still and it seems jumps the s1000 out the hole based on dyno but the flap spot and top end are better on the s1000 for now
I don't see the point. I'd take an S1000RR with a tune and fancy it up. I'm not a race team and the M1000RR is too similar to a regular S1000RR. It's still a nice bike though. It'll be interesting if you can find a race team willing to let you put their M1000rr on a dyno.
The engine on the m1000rr is more powerful and it rev more. It makes the same HP as fully moded s1000rr with just a flash, fully moded m1000rr will make 5-10hp more. Power aside it got much higher spec components and fancy body work.
@@pherron7471 S1000rr is fully race replica and pretty much a showoff bike too, vast majority of people who buy it barely can ride ninja300 at good phase around the track or ever visit a track. You buy m1000rr because you want higher specs s1000rr and you have the money the reason is irrelevant.
Can you do a riding different breakdown between the M1000rr and the S1krr? Like the difference between the automatic vs standard suspension, the difference the titanium con rods make in inertia, etc.
Even with new pipe and filter, ill stand behind my previous statement, i just dont see the justification in price for performance on the M , unless you just want exclusivity..i expected this outcome nothing surprising...
@@650ib n it should be for the price, but like i said i can buy the S and put better brakes, engine work, customize the suspension, rearsets, cf and by the end have a better bike for around the same price...thats all im saying.. the M has exclusivity and yes it is beautiful not knocking it, just saying dollar for dollar the S would be the better buy ..

Did it change anything in the fifth gear?? Cause the changes i saw only concerned the lower gears.... Maybe there is a reason why the bike has its full power only in the fifth gear? Please enlighten me.
So 44teeth said it’s an awesome bike, but the difference isn’t really worth the extra $15k-$20k price difference and that the M1KRR doesn’t feel like too wild of an upgrade from the S1KRR. I’m wondering what you think so throw that in your next video!
Interesting video. I do think there are additional restrictions (that the stock S1000RR doesn't have) on the M1000rr on the top end. Both have the mid range flat spot in stock form. When the M gets a full system, it should beef up the powerband (similarly to the S) however, I don't think there will be as much to gain top end with a full system. There is another dyno comparison from Europe of the M vs the S, both will full systems and there was a 2-3 hp difference in favor of the M.
Question for you Ib:do you know anyone that would work on a 2009 Buell 1203cc lightning? I don’t ever want to get rid of that bike but I want to get rid of those ridiculous turn signals and do a better tail light, tail tidy . I found the lights that supposedly go with the bike but everybody is saying they can’t put them on. Just wondering if you had any issues with your Buell or if you knew somebody that specialized since it’s so hard to get anyone to work on them. Someday I will meet up with you sir! Love your BMW I M1000.

thats crazy seeing that dip I put my street triple on a dyno stock everything and it was almost a perfect diagnal line going up. How is a bike like this tuned so poorly from the factory? Do bigger motors have to compromise more to meet emmissions?
Fuuuuuuck, what a let Down, I was all set to get an M1000rr . In Australia we get the Euro spec bikes which I believe is not so restricted. So BMW you drop serious coin on a bike that you have to drop more coin to get it going. Great vid Ib.
Hi Mike... There's no difference running the bike Race mode or Race Pro. Pro is a setting for customizing suspension, engine braking and such. It doesn't add performance for dyno runs.
