Well I bought an austin yellow m4 two weeks ago and until anyone has been in one and heard the different sounds it makes they shouldn't pass comment on you tube sound bites! This car is beautiful and makes me smile endlessly and I don't want the music on and I've Owned m3 s and alpina b10 and tvr Tuscan to name a few! .... This car can be everything and more! Um my best yet!

+blamethemachine007 Getting my M4 next week. I got worried about the exhaust sound when I watch all the terrible sounds on the youtube. I hope you are right! :D

it's NOT an AUTOMATIC transmission, there is no torque converter in the DCT just an electronically controlled clutch hence why DCT equipped cars tend to roll back sometimes when letting go of the break pedal

I'm not german, but I still agree :D Great voice, making it easy for us that do not talk english as a first language. But as many car channels on youtube, you should really consider firing your sound guy. Background music is the work of pure evil and have not place in a car vid.

I owned an E46 for 6 years and drove the v-8....Compared to the last 2 generations, this ///M is better in EVERY way.....unless your comparing sound of the E90 V-8. Power went up, weight went down with 1g lateral = driving nirvana. You can take it on a track or you can sunday drive with the fam.....Throw in safety, solidness, technology, luxury, better fuel economy and killer good looks and there is no other car that can compare for $75k.

I don't like the new naming of these cars. I always associated an M3 with a two door coupe. They should have named the saloon M4.

Normal sound of the new M3/M4 is not that bad, but what really gets on my nerves is that one second long sound when changing gears. It really sounds like farting. Like one of those cheap exhausts for teenagers...

Don't know why but the M3 sounds like a lawnmower whereas the M4 sounds actually really good, even though they should basically sound the same...

You listened to a video where the rev limiter was likely in place. It does this to protect a cold / new engine. Once warmed up / broken in it can rev out fully and will produce the same raspy I-6 noise.

Selling m3 vert, going with C63 with pano roof, black wood ash trim, 2 tone leather. BMW interior = BORING now i6 TT = hair dryer sound piped thru speakers ! Stock body kit looks over aggressive IMHO Steering wheel vs AMG not as good NAV on both are silly, Audi retracting screen on large sedans is cleaner Benz offers $2500 google map NAV or $800 Garmin which has free maps and -1" smaller Benz has Pano roof with sunroof = sweet Benz has better wheel selection for once ! both have nice seat options BMW has more colors ext MB has more int trims and options and more modern

+Dodge Hemi (Challenger 392) M4 have better gearbox. Doesn´t lagg like the C63 and the M4 is cheaper to buy and more economic with fuel. If exhaust sound is more inportant for you, go for the C63. Nice car as well.

Khanh Le - AMG interior & exterior and dual pano roof are better than the M4 coupe, limited int option on M4 USA. White individ leather add on but can't go FULL ? So i pay more for less but in white color leather ? Options lists suck on BMW, i want hard loaded and M4 isn't a cheap build my friend has $88 sticker on black paddle with CF aero, not full leather
