Paul? And how did you launch the 6hp26 abs distributor and anti-skid steering wheel. I put myself from the bmvh5 e53 M57N it will also be on emergency mode?
Hi mate how’s you doing? I’m not sure what that is sorry. The only thing I changed from stock was the dde tune which has speed signal and ews delete. And transmission loom needed the can wires resistors
Hi Paul I finished the m57p 6hp26 on the Nissan patrol gr y60 the car is simple the fire goes without complaints instagram or tiktok do you have a wish to share with you because your video and you surprised me and for that I am happy for you
paul you got a diagram for what you did with the gear selector lights etc ive had imobaliser took off the ecu just no clue were the wires go from the gearstick surrounding and what the resistor is used for too
Hey mate, I don’t have any diagrams anymore, I used a online free manual which had every bmw wiring diagram on it think it was called tis. But they started charging subscription shortly after. Pretty sure you can still get it somewhere though. House of torque I’m pretty sure they have all the step by step wiring info on their site too. The resistors are a 120ohm CAN terminating resistor between can low and can high I’m not exactly sure which ones I connected but do remember they were the twisted yellow and maybe orange wires?? But pretty sure all this info is online now. Sorry I’m not much more help than that I did mine a long time ago now, but it’s still going strong with no issues and still my daily driver done about 50k kms in it so far. Such a good conversion. Keep going with it and let me know how it turns out 👍👍👍
Hi Mike - there is a few different things you need power to also a bunch of grounds - it’s quite hard to explain with a message - I’ll probably post a video of it if I can - I’m integrating the ecu and body loom into the centre console so I’ll try get a video up to help 👍
@@killa1triangle13 hi mate yeah sure, i basically pulled the complete wiring harness from the donor x5, just before i got rid of the rolling chassis. sat down with bmw wiring diagram to work out what i needed. i started with fitting the ews with key reader and chip key and later on removed it due to having a ecu from wieman engineering. (so ews now not needed). there is a load of terminal 15 (ignition on) and a few terminal 30 wires (fused direct to battery) you need to keep all the engine control module relays, should already be on engine. Most of grounds are brown. you need to get the throttle pedal wiring too. Then have to wire in a relay with signal from ecu harness for fuel pump relay so it will switch off when necessary wouldn't recommend constant t15. after that you need to get t15 and 30 wires to shifter, and all the grounds. there are can high low wires which run to the shifter black harness which need a resistor in to make sure the gearbox does not run in limp mode (basically takes fault code out with dummy signal) and gearbox has its own signal. there is a fair bit involved but its pretty easy if you have the correct diagram for the model your working with. if im going to do another conversion i will just buy a harness already made by one of the companies due to the amount of time it took - could of jut done a few more hours overtime in work and had it ready to install ha, but i did want to just see if i could do it and quite enjoyed seeing it start first click of the starter. any more info jut hit me up ill try my best.
It may be a bit big for a Fourtrak. The M57 is a straight six. You would be better looking at a four cylinder Toyota engine, easier to connect to the gearbox too.
Hi mate, I have seen you have sent a lot of messages but I’m not sure what language it is and can’t understand it. If you can read this copy into English translate and I’ll try get back to you 🙂🙂 - cheers 👍👍👍
