Another good wee video there Dave , quite like the way you explain what your doing and why your doing it , and your customers must love that they are getting a video to show them that it’s being done right , and a few things to keep an eye on as well , like the brake pipes ..... cheers again 👍
I like the 3rd hand suspension tool, although i didn't like the price, so I made 1 out off some scrap I had kicking around only needed to buy a £15 turnbuckle and a couple off hours welding and cutting, might not look as nice but it does the job, great videos Dave thanks for taking the time to do them.
Great video Dave , standard mini rotten brake pipes , my sister had a cooper and the front strut platforms rotted away , brake pipes a plenty on these. Top quality from the factory
I've double nutted the ball joints on mine, noticed that some are coming with no cotter pin or nyloc nuts on them as far as aftermarket is concerned. Rather be safe than picking the wishbone and wheel out of the hedge! But the tie rod ends are shocking on that.
I prefer the nail pinchers too . the proper tool seems to slip off when I use it . Done a few of them brake pipes on the cooper too, I drop the tank its a pain in the backside but you can get the pipes much more neater.
Hi dave. You should make a video on changing those rear lower arm bushes. Truly terrible job especially on older models when the bolts snap off in the floor like a carrot. I dare you to use a impact gun on those..lol. I have a couple of eye bolt anchors fitted to the floor on my workshop. I use a strong strap from the lower arm down to the floor bolt. Lift the car up on ramp an extra inch or 2 then use air hammer to tickle the arm same as you did. Release really easy and then stay down out of the way.

Good video, .. I can't beleive that some dick-head had tried to fix the gaitor with duck tape, what a bodge!! ... Glad it's been fixed properly now ;-)
