I don't own a beemer now but I came across your channel recently. I watched the video with you explaining the big TFT menu hierarchy on your beautiful RT. Your content is informative and well articulated. I wish your channel success. Keep up the good work.
One of the best ways to remove Roundels from adhesive is with dental floss or the string from inside 550 parachute cord. Use it like a saw going back and fourth and it goes through the adhesive pretty well. It beats marring or scratching the Roundels.
😃 thanks for sharing. Hopefully it’ll help some of the future viewers. Using appropriate tools makes a whole lot difference. At the time I didn’t know how they were affixed to the chrome pieces.
excellent job! I have been looking to do this on my '22 r1250rt. I did it for by k1600b and really liked the look. I'm definitely subscribing as I think I'll be learning a few things on your channel!!!!
forgot to ask you brother, since the right side is connnected to the euro hella din positive, when you shut off the bike it stays on longer than left side. do you have a solution for it perhaps another wire to connect? have you noticed that ? it doesn't bother me but it would be great if they can be both turned off the same time.
Thanks for the video. I have ordered these and waiting them to arrive. I will try to apply them to my 1200gsa lc. Hope it works. Just curious abıut the cables and colors
Appreciate the feedback 👍👍 The cable colors should be the same as you saw in the video. I’ve done this on an old RS of my friend and the colors matched. Please consider subscribing 😊
Hey Parag! I used your install video when doing this on my k1600b.....then upgraded to 22' 1250rt and came back here to do it on my rt.....and now im back! Hurricane Ian wiped out my 1250rt so now that i have insurance $ in-hand, i got a new '23 1250 gsa!!! Your video is fantastic and its the 3rd time ive been back here!!!!
Hi Federico, sorry to hear you lost your RT in Hurricane Ian. Thanks very much for taking time to comment 👍 glad I could help, that’s the whole reason why I thought about starting this channel 😊 comment like this motivate me to make more videos. I am very much interested in knowing your experience on switching from RT to GSA. Could be something in my future as a second bike.
You are a confident and brave young man! Lol Love the “caulk” reference and American “rubber” reference. Lol. High quality DIY video for newbs like me. I’m still not brave enough to do this, so don’t think. 🤷🏽
GREAT VIDEO! However, I would silicone that little controller box…it does not like rain or car washes. I’m doing the same exact thing at this very moment.
Thanks!! Yes I am looking into sealing it better this winter. I’ll look into silicone. You recommend any brand or product? So far so good 😁🤞 It survived through heavy rains and car wash.
That’s great! Unfortunately I do not have onboard speakers, so I won’t be able to provide any input on that. You may need a different power source. Maybe install like an accessory on EZHexCan or similar power regulator.
Bonjour (de France), Merci pour cette superbe vidéo et installation. Merci pour toutes ces explications et images qui vont bien m'aider à faire la même installation sur ma Rt de 2019.. je cherchais à faire ça depuis longtemps.. Bonne route V
@@teach1644 True the method may not of of your liking :) but it is definitely useful to have additional lights. You can opt for an expensive option, there are expensive roundel lights that you can buy but you will also need a power regulator to plug them in. Those are pretty much plug-and-play solution but I think they make them only for K series. I couldn't find any for the RT. Let me know if you come across a better solution. Thanks for taking time to respond.
Nice 👏 I just did a trip to Mount Washington it rained up there and was super windy as usual. Both lights are working without issues. Sometimes they dim if the battery is running low, especially after when I end up playing with my K5 camera to download videos. But they go back to normal as soon as the bike runs for about 5 mins.
The radio seems to experience interference to the extent that it becomes unusable, but since I usually play music and listen to radio through my mobile phone, the disturbance doesn't really affect me.
@@צחיהדר 1 RED cable on the Right side makes the halo rings on even when the moto is off Yes I've the radio and the Radio become unusable Someone got a solution?
@EnriqueCristianMonteldelaRoche I haven't tried to disconnect the right side only and check if the radio interference persists. On the right side, it is connected to the 12v jack so it turns off couple of seconds later.
