Thank you for doing videos and taking the time to share. These cars are fun and don’t need to be so expensive to maintain and soundly modified. N54 future classic !!!
Mate we should get together sometime. Id love to show you my 09 335i e92 6MT. Car has literally everything needed to make 800WHP. Ford 8.8 rear end and polly bushings. Once piece drive shaft, Doc race top mount kit with a GT turbo making around 31PSI. Running Stock Location BMP intake manifold with 750cc fuel injector running a motiv controll
Would you recommend going stage 3 for both tanks. Or just the main tank. I’m currently running stages 2 walbros for each tank. Tuner told me to go stage 3 but I don’t know if I need to do both tanks
I didnt film it when i did the e92 back in 2019, as i was a bit unsure. But ended up doing the same stage 2 in the vargas car in this video here. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Z9JJzC33gXY.html&t Its about half of the way through from memroy.
No issues with the type of driving i do. However. throw on some semi slicks and start going rounds corners flat out, with 1/4 of a tank or less and you will have issues.
One guy in the whatsapp is running a 535 on its own Hpfp use to be down to like 1500psi or less at the top of rev range now its 2450psi at the top same tune - 450vs535
@@ZeroTo60Tube In the UK so just stock HPFP no over drive no port injection. Same or less power draw from ekpm He made 550bhp on 17t's before changing. He was recommended to do change to it by Ken Wedge Performance. He didn't fit a check valve (535 doesn't come with one) and feels no change on start up operation. www.fuelperformance.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=9980
I'm wondering if they sent you a blue connector that didn't fit the other blue connector as well?? That's what I got LOL. As you said "You get what you pay for" "Sometimes" LOL.
I personally think it will be fine for all uses except for circuit track work. For daily driving, street racing and even 1/4 mile times, a solid bucket should be fine. What does get difficult is getting the two filters to fit in the bucket.
QUESTION is it correct that you drove with stage 2 without venturi but with bucket because i would like a stage 2 walbro 450 but it is unclear with the venturi
I believe the better solution to this is a single pump, no Venturi, with the added Hydromat. The hydromat allows the pump to never go dry, as is what the Venturi was doing by filling the bucket. By cutting the bucket, you can’t drive below 1/4 tank or risk going lean during hard pulls/corners. Another downside is that two pumps pull too many amps and blow the fuse, leaving you stranded. Anyway , good explanation for the two pumps.
You are on the money!!! Mine with the single pump, no Venturi was perfect for FBO e60 power levels, but I’ll need the extra pump for when I get the port injection on and really wind the boost up. Fuel level did concern me, especially with e85, it doesn’t get great range. But we’ll see how it all pans out. I’m starting with the cheapest option and we’ll work up from there when it starts becoming an issue. 🤘🏼my fingers are tightly crossed.
@@ZeroTo60Tube Awesome vid! Just wondering where you got the BMP Walboro Fuel Pump Fitting in Aus to avoid US shipping costs? I really want to try a stage 2 DIY so I can go from my current e30MHD map to the e50 upgrade on the cheap so been lightly researching. I'd like to try and keep the venturi so that it's less risky if my fuel level drops. Do you have a vid on when you did that or other bits you recommend for it? Sorry, couldn't find it.
@@UmbrielliaMedia Hi There, unfortunately i had to get them from the states. I got them on the black friday sale and with a few other bits from those guys. Certainly helps a bit.
@@ZeroTo60Tube Black Friday, of course! @t This Aus guy used $50 of Aeroflow bits, maybe that's the way to go even if it takes way more space and connections. Keeping that Venturi down and in seems tricky though and he had to drill tiny zip tie holes in the bottom and I can't see where that fuel filter would fit in. Also did you have a vid of your stage 2 bucketed DIY?
