Thanks to great feedback from my last video on this topic, I revisit several key points in this video, such as what kind of grease to use, how to change the final drive oil, and more.
It is true that I do not show how to lube the driveshaft at the other end. I do not believe water intrusion and rust is as big an issue at the upper end, and frankly I don't feel like taking it apart, but it is true that it would be best to do that end as well.
It seems that recent bikes, like 2017 and later, may have some sort of production change where it is more common to see the splines completely dry, no lube, from the factory. Please share your experiences in the comments.
