98%+ have no interest at all in what a GS will do off road, because their GS will never see conditions such as these. If they ride across their manicured lawn, that's high adventure to them. What the GS is really good at is being a wonderful road bike. You sit up nice and high with a good posture that make the miles disappear. I have a R100GS, and I only take it off road when I run wide in a curve, by accident another words. When I go dirt riding I use a dirt bike and leave the heavy hippo GS parked.
Big disappointment.... Doesn’t need more power, already very smooth and the torque is more than enough... what about a new design coming with a new engine?? A new design with Corner lighting, illuminated night control, heated seat, electric windshield ( not really my thing)... Seriously?? How long more do we have to wait? BMW drop the ball on this one... Oh well I keep my rally then....
It's sad to see BMW is unfortunately only catering for the wealthy now . I thoroughly enjoyed my 2015 (cost R217 000 and 2018 ( cost rediculous R254 000 , allready cringed when i bought it) models and i am sure as hell not going to pay R300 000 for a motorcycle , Fooook that ! Saying that if you are a rich bitch , go ahead and buy one .
