BMW R1300gs test ride: a user friendly one

I had the opportunity to test ride the 2024 BMW R1300gs. It has the latest BMW boxer that is liquid cooled. With even more power and torque than the previous one that was a 1250 cc. It is an adventure bike. Now it this latest version even more refined, very powerful, stable and very well equipped. It has now also the blind corner detection and the adaptive cruise control. I did a walkaround,, explained some details and rode it. Like any bike, it has PROS and CONS. I think that it really is a great touring package, even though it costs a lot. Check the video for more. Describing it with just a few words I would say that now it is "even more user friendly". BMW R1300gs test ride: more than a comfortable ride.

The latest BMWs have things that we could only imagine. Now it is also very suitable for shorter persons. :)

I can see where the bike would have been fun to test out & especially with that boxer engine. However as I have previously mentioned, the style is not for me. It's the modern era duck beak look & it's great if that is the type of look that your after. I get it; were all different. Anyway thanks for your time Gregor. It was a very honest review/opinion. In general I prefer to have a front 17 inch wheel. Technically BMWs are very advanced and this one is no difference. It has many pros, but also cons, like any bike... I am like you... I rather have less than too much... old school I love. :) This is still a great bike. Lighter and faster than the previous model, but in the same time with the smaller seat... :) Thanks for tuning in Larry. Appreciate it. Check the community tab. My opinion is not biased. I like all bikes. This one is lighter and quicker that the previous model, but in the same time it is also more expensive. A very good BMW, but I wouldn't ride it off road. :) To me it feels still too big and heavy. :)

Vidio sam ga u živo, meni se čak i sviđa taj modernistički dizajn i to svijetlo naprijed. Motor je manji od prijašnjih modela 1200 / 1250 i to mi se sviđa ... na žalost nisam ga imao prilike probati voziti vjerujem da bi i ja postao ovisan o toj snagi koju posjeduje BMW-ov boxer motor 😁. Dobar video... pozdrav.

Adjustable windscreen is nice as are heated grips! I could really care less about cruise control lol. I never use it.

Ja. Leta 1980 se je rodila "legenda". :) Zaradi teh številnih "majhnih" dopolnitev sem napisal, da je še bolj "user-friendly". Seveda je bil že prej, zdaj je samo še bolj. :)

Dobro Ko i sve što si odradio, ali svakako sam da se napravi minimalno cca 500+ km da se može realno nekaj reći, sa obzirom što ja vozim , pregledao sam hrpu recenzija i nitko od "velikih" igrača nije naveo bitne mane osim onoga za pto su bili plaćeni... Tako da...

Hvala prijatelju. Dobro, da ja nisam veliki igrač. :) Ipak kažem, da nije za off road, barem ja ne bih nikada išao sa njim. Ima maleni prostor za telefon i cjena mu je "visoka". I sjedalo je bilo na 1250 bolje, ali... sad je lakši i brži... To je moje mišljenje. Volim sve motore... i ne prodam se za ništa. :)

@@2W_Adventure Neču, ne brini. Debata o motorima može samo ako pričamo o tome što vidimo i osjetimo. Sve ono... znaš... kafanski... ja ne slušam. Vozio sam i R1150gs...
