That's a serious boost in power, considering they came from the factory with 160 at the crank. What's been changed on the engine besides the exhaust? Edit: That's a really big boost in power for just those three things!!!
It´s an artikel in german but they testet the stock bmw s1000r also on the dyno for 172 ps/hp @ the rear wheel. So ithink with the s1000r you always get 160+hp , which is pretty nice :D www.motorradonline.de/test/top-test-bmw-s-1000-r.530054.html
Hi friend! I'm wondering if you converted your head lights from original. If so plz tell me, im so disappointed that BMW is still with those ugly standard headlights bulbs.
Top speed will be the same- as the bike is geared short. 256-257kph on a gps at redline in 6th gear. About 260-265 will show on the speedo at redline in 6th. The extra power gets you there faster though :)
The s1000rr revs to a higher rpm because of longer gearing, creating a higher pitched top end sound. The s1000r is geared shorter so the engine doesn't rev as high thus not reaching those high pitched sounds
