I have the 2017 s1000xr and the bike has a very rough idle and stalls easily. bike only has 3000 km and is all stock. did you encounter such cases with the 2017+ s1000 range and is there a way to fix this ? much appreciated! thanks

I have 3 questions since your job is tuning. 1. One content creator in one of his videos said that BMW uses wideband O2 sensors in a closed loop and insinuated that the other manufacturers do not. Thing is, every bike nowadays has O2 sensors attached to the exhaust, not just BMW. So, was he telling the truth? Is BMW the only manufacturer that uses a closed loop tune on their bikes? And, if so, why do the others have O2 sensors if they don't use a closed loop tune? 2. Another content creator claims that a power commander is a better way to tune a bike because it has a higher resolution of imputs or whatnot and you can achieve more precise fuel tuning. Is that true? It seems flawed to me. And 3. Can a ride by wire be made to work as immediately as a cable throttle? I mean the same instant response and linearity, the moment i twist the grip the valves open that instant and with the rate and at the opening that i twisted it without any interruption or lag.

Hi and sorry for such a late reply. First thing to be clear on is there is a difference between Narrow Band and Wide Band. Basically, Wideband are a lot better and more accurate. BMW were one of the first to start using Wideband sensors in their closed loop system, but it is becoming more common nowadays as technology gets better and other manufactures are doing it. Also other manufactures have been doing closed loop systems for a very long time just that up until recently they only used Narrow Band sensors. Not all BMWS have wideband in the closed loop, and the one in this video is only Narrow band. So it depends on the model and year. Hope that makes sense :)

@@darrensciberras2318 No problem. I know what a wide band sensor is, i just thought it was odd for someone to claim only bmw uses them. The other two questions are more important, i'd appreciate it if you gave me an opinion.
