Unfortunately the looks of the bike surpasses the ergonomic design. Owners of these bikes start selling it after couple 1000miles. They just too uncomfortable compared to what is on the market for that price. I reckon these bikes will start bottoming out at very cheap prices very very soon.
I think that might be different for everyone, I just saw video on here about a guy who rode one of these all loaded up from alaska to the bottom of south america and he thought it was fine, you can change the ergonomics quite easily for about a $100 with some bar risers which not only raise the bars but also move them back towards you and some lower foot pegs
I’ve done 500m and getting that exact feeling. I tried my best to fall in love with the riding experience thinking it will grow on me but ….. hmmmm. And then you look at it parked, it does raise your pulse. Frustrating
What is the servicing like can u do it yourself ? I like doing my own work ... Does the bike display a service light and can you reset it yourself ? Reason I ask is cause I have a tiger 800 and I can reset my service intervals ...
I am beginner bike driver I've had serious fight if I should get this bike or start with Ducati scrambler 1100 sport Both bikes are amazing but I've been told bmw r9t is not a beginner bike it's not friendly bike u must be expert so I got the ducati 1100 sport But still looking for this one
