Aw man I feel your frustration! I'd be too lol what I'd recommend is try using a heat gun / blow dryer on high heat where its crooked and lift it up slowly if it peels away then readjust ever so slightly. If possible try adding a small piece of double sided tape to hold it at the new place. Good Luck!
It might be advised to heat up the double sided tape for a better bond if it's cold. I would use a heat gun to heat up the surface where you'll apply the tape and then heat up the top part of the tape to ensure proper bonding with the glue. Worse case you can wait till it heta warmer but it's not a huge deal should still work fine.
Try to see if you can heat it up and press it down with some weights maybe the tape needs to heat up to level. Did you double layer the tape by any chance? If not try using skinner tape
