Thank you. Finally someone with a comprehensive, informative review. I'm sick of all the boy-racer takes that gloss over the systems function and focus on exhaust note & Apple Carplay. Well done, my man. Wife & I are test-drivng one tomorrow in the States. I feel better-prepared after watching your video. Kudos.
Cheers for the video mate. I always wanted to get myself an SQ5 as a company car; but since they changed the engines in Germany to TDIs, I don't "feel" Audi anymore. Long story short: your video made me pick an X3 M40i. Hope they will keep the 4 months delivery period. HQs are roughly 350 km from home, so I will surely get to enjoy the Autobahn rides! Keep up the work -> the algorithm made it all the way to Germany already =)
Hey @Cjay Young thanks for your message, I’m really pleased that my video helped you choose your new car. I’m sure you’ll love it when it arrives. Thanks for your support, much appreciated.
@Auto Social UK haha, I do think I say things differently sometimes. I think I swear more since moving to oz too!!😂😂 I’m an Audi fan too, having worked for them for 3 years before I moved to Australia.
@@WebbyOnCars my family and I were late night shopping for cars in Perth this evening. I am trying to weigh this up against the x30i, which is better value.
@Sameer Purohit I guess it depends whether you add all the same extras to the 30i that are standard on the 40i? Do you have a preference as to which engine you have?
@@WebbyOnCars probably the petrol engine. I now am within $7k of a price difference between the two cars 👍. The x30i is new whilst the x40 is demo. A few more weeks to decide 🤔
@@sameerpurohit3385 that’s a tough decision! I haven’t driven the X30i, but I’d imagine it would be just as good to drive. the price difference isn’t very big so I’d be tempted by the M40i myself
Got mine last year prior from the pandemic got it under 95k but year that was before bmw had stock issues. Amazing car it’s the B58 but a newer more powerful version than the one in the Supra
@uzzz14 the specifications in Australia are often a lot higher than other countries, which accounts for some models being more expensive. 21’s are standard for us, can you get these as an option where you are?
