The Macan Turbo does 12 seconds flat on a non prepped airstrip consistently... it’s obvious that these times are way off as a Turbo on a prepped course would be hitting mid to low 11’s... I knew he didn’t like Porsches but dang... if you’re looking for real drag races with no bias, just go to Car Wow... he actually does them and doesn’t try to push a stupid agenda against certain companies... he mashes the brake and the throttle and sees what happens... 🤦♂️
Yes, he is. Maybe a competition between Parker and Streetspeed for the crown of Worst Driver. They both are awful. Could probably put Stradman in that competition also.
yeah that's brooks lol he tends to have great launches but bmws don't have the best launch system I know from experience in my 540i... it either creeps forward even with the brake to the ground while building boost or it spins too much on takeoff. You have to pick your poison sadly.
MAcan will always lose to an X3m. Macna is about about balance in speed and ride quality.handling/suspension. IF all you want is speed...X3M all day. IF you want something very fast but with a posh interior and good ride..Macan GTS all day.

Brooks also wrote that the Macan Turbo has a 2.9 liter V6. It's a 3.6 V6 since its the pre facelift. The facelift ones have the 2.9. Another mistake was that the X3M competition has 503 hp stock not 473 which is how much the non competition X3M has.
A Stick & 3 Pedals I was just about to rant about that. 473 to 503 is just BMWs long-standing, 30hp restriction option that’s been offered for years. These cars are built to perform way above factory restrictions. Glad you pointed that out. Ppl are so enamored with black and cf trims, that they start to believe they are different. BMW clearly has an agenda...they only promote Competition versions. It’s been years, and I’m sure there are many that think base Ms don’t exist.
