BMW X5 Idler pulley and serpentine belt replacement 

Huge kudos to you bro. Tackled the job myself as always but was nice to have reassurance. I will note: The top idler pulley has two pre drilled threaded holes in the block a few inches from each other, Same size.. same thread. Make sure you return that pulley to the same hole you pulled the old one or you’ll have 3-4 inches of extra slack in the belt. Overlooked it in the original install put everything back together and released the tensioner to find slack in the belt. Blew my mind at first but realized they are using this same block in several models with different configurations.

Thanks brother I was feeling like it would be impossible with the AC lines and everything in the way but imma give it a try
