My P530 is as quiet as my Continental GT and S8 (more quiet than the Bentley) before, as you can expect it from a Range Rover. I've heard about that issue a few times. Maybe pre-series vehicles used as demo cars? I've had Range Rovers since 2007, 322s and 405s, no problems at all, always the petrol V8.

I used to drive multiple previous gen Range Rover sports over 8 years and they were completely fine. I’m not sure id go so far to call it a ‘deal breaker’ but I’m a fan that you own an X7👌

@@tankman66 :-). You’re partially correct. While I own 285 apartment units in 7 complexes in 3 states and 3 BMW’s, I would find it difficult to spend 6 figures on a new car as precious few of them would begin to hold their value. Definitely a foolish business decision.

Modern BMWs are literally THE least reliable cars you can buy, especially ones with turbo V8s and air suspensions. I mean even a Durango or Trackhawk is more reliable than the X5/X7. As for the Range Rover, yes it's no Toyota but it has an exquisite interior, great ride quality and infotainment. Not to mention the unbeatable off-road ability.

Well its a bit more than that, He said the front looks like shit, and it does. he said the car cant go off-road and it cant. Not to mention the electronics of this new BMW malfunctioned in traffic putting him on the side of the road. And overall the X7 looks like shit. But it is a better car than the Range Rover, GLE, Q8 and many mother cars in that class. And if you know anything about cars man you would know that the RangerRover, Urus, Rolls and G Class are the most special SUVs even though BMWs are quicker than all of them. There is a huge difference between a CarGuy and a Fanboy. This host is a proper CarGuy and not a fanboy, He did say the X7 is a proper car that the Range, where were you when he said that? BMWs are quicker than most cars in every class, then we would end up making BMWs win all challenges and calling all car shows BMWshows not carshows.

Cheaper than the X7? What a load of……. In Australia there is a 100K difference between X7 and the highly excessive RR. X7 any day based on looks and value

iDrive IS shit; I have it in my BM. Whereas in my E39 to go from CD to FM radio it's one button. In iDrive, it's many clicks, rotations, clicks and rotations. Probably created by someone that's never driven before.

Love the RR aesthetic but the reality is just too unpredictable. My playlist was a 2009 BMW X5 then swapped it for a 2011 RR sport - but 13 dealer trips later gave up by 2012 - then had a 2012 BMW X5 which had zero issues but in 2017 swapped to the 2017 RR Sport but again had issues from day 1 (basically it was just a a facelift) so traded it for a 2018 BMW X5 50d and then flipped that for a X5 45e in 2021

@@jameshogg601 well I've had 2 Disco's and an RRS, and from BMW stable I've had starting at e39 5 series, 335i coupe, 2 650's and now an M850 GC - all spanning many years with no issues to speak of. Admittedly, the LR products were for the mrs.
