You should! Not long ago I drove my friend's car, which is 2013 z4. and it have the same problem, the bmw installed the cheap plastic on that part, so it's rattle. Good luck!
That's the good suggestion, but I was trying to keep everything clean, and it did work, the was a little rattle of the headrest silver plastic, but it's gone now. The ride was nice and quiet, It was quite a project, but it sims to work fine! Thanks for the comment!
hah! I remember doing this with my E89 Z4 35i. I basically went though exactly what you did. had the entire interior in pieces putting foam pads and grease everywhere. What is the stuff that you were using in that bottle with the foam pad that you were wiping everywhere?
Gummy Pfleg, it’s solution for refreshing rubber gaskets, or it’s specifically for the roof seal maintenance. It makes plastic or rubber extremely slippery 😅) but it works fine. All though I still would go with grease 😅😂 lol.
