BMW Z4 M40i | A VERY Underrated Sports Car! 

This is the grill that should be on other bmw’s!!!

I daily drive my Z4 M40i. :D Additionally... it is common to get an 8-series confused with the Z4 from the front. He talked about the mileage... though it's definitely not as good as the 30i (I had one of those too and upgraded to the M40i), I still get 25-27 MPG with the M40i. The 30i I got between 26-31MPG. However, it should also be noted that I drive in sport plus alot more, and also drive slightly more aggressive than I did with the 30i. Also, he didn't put the top down... there are plenty of reviews out there (including my own) that continue to have a discussion with the camera despite the top being down. That's a beautiful thing about the Z4 is that not alot of wind comes into the cabin, especially with the windows up. Lower speeds windows down it's very comfortable. Higher speeds (highway) with windows up it's gets noisy but you can still have a conversation with your passenger. Z4 and Supra have completely different targeted audience. There's a $20,000 difference between the Supra GR and Z4 M40i. That's pretty hefty. However, those that are considering the Z4 will likely be thinking two things... 1. Drop the top. 2. They'd rather have a BMW than a Toyota. Huge turn off for me in regards to the supra are all the fake vents. Honestly, I felt it was over stylized.

Great review Drake! That really is a very nice sports car. The exhaust note is amazing. The horn note in the Supra is just odd lol. Hope that you are doing great!

Great review and with about 8k miles on my ‘24 daily commuter (though mountain passes) and weekend sport ride, I have to say the combo of the BMW premium experience with the insane fun factor and verbals makes this car the most thrilling I’ve ever owned.

I own an M40i and don’t experience noise from movement of the soft top when I hit bumps.

The Z4 and 8 series have peak BMW interior. physical buttons are still present and there is no ugly curved display

I'd get the one with the manual transmission.
