Been meaning to get this thing onto the beach for a while now!
The vancruiser goes for its first boost down the beach!!
But a couple of things needed to be sorted in order to do that, but here we are!!
The 80 performed flawlessly for its first beach run. A couple of cooling issues which are to be expected but had an absolute ripper time!!!

Navara D22 owner here I don't plan to go off-road without a jack or a wheel spanner, these tools a must haves, plus I never leave without spare bolts and nuts....

Has it still got run in oil in it? Might be effecting temps a bit if it's a different viscosity.

I have not seen a ThunderCat (catamaran IRB) on the water for years!! When I raced PWC’s, their races would intertwine with our surf races. Good times and man can those things turn on a 5c piece!! 👌🏼👍

Sam! Oil coolers can cause other issues like blocked coolers disconnect hoses etc get some quality high temp oil like motul 300v or car weight specific 0w40-10w40 etc. Owned a 370z which Overheated often and on the racetrack hit ecu limp mode shut-off at 160'c, only think I changed was the oil to quality high temp motul and never had a issue again.

Monster build, and I have followed it. Unfortunately this vid lets you down as a Modifier. I may be older, but this is RU-vid wank! as in showing any aspiring 4x4 what not to do on a beach for safety and how our tracks get closed! I did love the sound of it and the way it performs. Go remote and loose the bling, i.e. wave runner. Just found it young boy wank is all, instead of amazing accomplishment finished. Great work on the build non the less and good to see it firing. Well done.

Wow I am very early. Edit: Seeing the Vancruiser in action just made my jaw drop. It really looks epic! Like the modern meets retro/old school look (the wrap as well as the car that has been modernised). 99% with the build, just a few loose ends to go and the automatic transmission cooler.
