"Do you feel like you're improving show to show?" "Yeah, I think so." "Oh that's good, 'cuz I saw it quite early." Wonderful set up and punchline there.
I would say bromance alert, but...this is straight up romance alert! Also, I love Bo's poems...I wonder if his next compilation will be called Boetry :)
@@leif1075 A ladle is a big spoon used for scooping stuff and Bo as American thought maybe British people call all spoons ladles which they don't, they also call them spoons.
This is by the far the funniest Tim Key has ever been to me. It helps that he was naturally laughing at the moments. Really enjoyed these two together.
not necessarily- Bo is incredibly talented both instrumentally and lyrically- as well as obviously having a great sense of humour and comedic timing. On their own, simply being musically and lyrically talented leaves you as a singer/songwriter living off small gigs and their small following or in some cases becoming famous and successful (but in most cases not). And this is the same with comedy, most comedians in the business are going to small festivals, shaking with nerves and find it difficult to make anything from it-(obviously with comedy there are famous and successful examples who are anomalies as well). The mixture of talents that Bo has means he has a standing out, hilarious performance. Obviously it's also down to hard work and starting out with a youtube channel at a young age blah blah blah- but one of the main reasons he can so easily reach success is because of his unique performance. That's a prolonged version of saying he's very talented and most people don't have those talents.
2:51 "I used to be the young one, got used to meeting people who weren't used to meeting someone who was born in 1990, no waaaay - yeah I was born in 1990."
i watched this YEARS ago when i was a new fan of bo’s,,, before i even knew what no more jockeys was and after becoming a fan of tim’s this is the best way for my two worlds to collide
Bo, my girlfriend said she'd leave me for you, and I'd be mad at her, but if she really ended up dating you I'd be like, "Wow, good job damn." Tell you what, he introduces me to Watsky I'll drive you to his front door.
This is awkward but at the same time it’s the best thing I’ve ever seen lmao Bo is a fucking ray of sunshine when he laughs 😂 it’s the cutest thing ever and I can’t stop smiling
+rito rubio I didn't think this was awkward at all, it's British comedy meets U.S. comedy, they are both playing along with each other, it's all set up :D
I don’t know how these two stayed straight faced most of the time for this. You can tell they completely got each other and were trying to one up each other which makes for good comedy occasionally 😂
This style of sarcastic/awkward interview has been around forever, especially in the UK. It's certainly not an original idea from Between Two Ferns, I've seen similar tropes explored in late 80s/early 90s British comedy, and I'm sure it's been done in the US before BTF. Zach Galifinakis just happens to be really famous, and thus his take on it becomes the most well known.
