The phenomenon of shadows has fascinated human beings for centuries, captivating our imagination and prompting us to explore the underlying reasons behind their existence. Shadows are ubiquitous and can be observed in countless settings, from a sunny day in the park to the dimly lit corners of a room. Their presence is not accidental but stems from fundamental principles of light and matter. The primary reason for shadows lies in the behavior of light. Light travels in straight lines, and when it encounters an obstacle, such as an object, it interacts with it in various ways. When light rays hit an opaque object, they cannot pass through it, resulting in the formation of a shadow. The shadow is essentially an area where light is blocked, creating a region of darkness in contrast to the surrounding illuminated space. The size and shape of a shadow depend on several factors, including the position and intensity of the light source, the distance between the object and the surface where the shadow is cast, and the geometry of the object itself. For instance, a small light source positioned close to an object will create a sharp and well-defined shadow, while a larger or more distant light source may produce a diffused or less distinct shadow. Shadows have practical implications and applications in various fields. In art, shadows play a crucial role in creating depth and dimension, enhancing the realism and visual impact of an artwork. In photography, shadows can be manipulated to evoke certain moods, add drama, or emphasize specific elements within a composition. Moreover, shadows are essential in scientific research, aiding in the study of celestial bodies, determining the shape and size of objects, and even providing valuable information about the atmospheric conditions of planets. Beyond their functional aspects, shadows have also captured our imagination and have been rich sources of inspiration in literature, poetry, and folklore. Shadows symbolize mystery, duality, and the hidden aspects of existence. They evoke a sense of the unknown, prompting us to explore and question what lies beyond the realm of light. In conclusion, shadows are not mere absences of light, but intricate manifestations of the interplay between light and matter. They serve practical purposes, contribute to artistic expression, and provoke our imagination. Shadows are a reminder that even in the presence of light, there will always be areas of darkness waiting to be explored and understood.
1:09 for anyone who’s curious the Latin in negative time translates to “you are always dead in my time” 5:12 the text for the red translates to “go back to your little time”
I love how smallant specifically asked to be put on the earliest time possible and, while knowing that getting out of bounds will send you to negative time, two seperate people still both choose to go back in time.
Tbf, I thought they meant the earliest time already established. I wouldn't have guessed that time starts at 18, but wouldn't have guessed anything else either
Honestly I love this type of game where you basically just make shit up as you go along. It’s so fun and can go in any direction. It’s my favourite way to play dnd
It's a shame no one attemped to send a player to pure time when they're in negative time. Base on pass experience this move will create a super negative time, double the fun.
@@darkithnamgedrf9495we could take the magic the Noah style and make a valefisk-esque game out of it, or if valefisk would be a contestant, well we all know where that would go.
A man walks into a time paradox. A man walks into a time paradox. A man walks into a time paradox. A man walks into a time paradox. A man walks into a time paradox.
Then the power move of Jreg using the brambles to kill them, then asking the time god to reverse time to bring them back to life for the sole purpose of killing them again.
Dude the organization skills you have are astounding, I can't believe you make a game with almost no rules, rhyme or reason and it's, like, a legit game that anyone can play. I absolutely love watching these
Ok so the guests now are... Rarran, ok that makes sense, he does like card games Smallant, well I guess he plays video games? Jreg. The anticentrist? That one that ran for mayor in ottowa? With promises of an ottawall? Ok. How tf do you get all these ppl on your show?! Just how much money did watching paint dry for 5 hours make you?
Doing the joke battles vs the time god is gotta be the most epic way to fight one. Also, not gonna lie, the entire plot of this episode is kinda cool. Some random 3 dudes find time travel machines, angry the time god, get stuck in the space without time, destroy their time machines to appease the time god, but then get greedy and kill each other.
the protagonist is probably Jreg, cuz he knows when he find himself on this situation where god of time rages, he he had to sell the time box thingy, but yet at the end, he survived without time box.
This is an insane cast, you blow me away everytime Noah. Never in a million years did I think I would see Jreg, Rarran, and SmallAnt interact in the same video.
I have never expected jREG and Smallant to ever be in the same hemisphere of content, let alone the same video, so this is just WILD to me. Watching this when I wake up tomorrow morning :D
The weird text in pure/negative time and on the wheel is actually latin The text written in pure/negative time reads as: tu semper mortuus es in tempore meo which translates to: you are always dead in my time The text on the wheel reads as: red ad-tuum minisculum tempus which translates to: return to your little time
A fun idea to evolve this game, what if spaces made in the past become, like, ancient ruins in the future and thus do something different than the past version, like in year 18, putting down a shop space leads to the normal shop, but the same space in year 80 leads to an abandoned, ancient shop. Or the good and bad spaces go wear down with time and get either worse or better. And, on top of that, what if someone purchased something at the shop in year 50, but then someone goes to year 40 and buys the same item (cause it would technically still be there), thus creating a paradox that becomes, like, a whole different game mode, haha.
That would create multiversal time travel like in 5D chess with multiversal time travel. You should give it a try. Would love to see a board game with that time travel with more interesting rules n stuff.
The list of places that can technically exist together and are secluded from all other spaces unless something special happens is I think 4 Those being McDonald’s play place, shadow realm, shadwo realm, and -time/pure time. So obviously the next board should be the McDonald’s play place at -time in the shadow realm. With the only other space being the shadwo realm.
imagine you go into a time machine for a few minutes and when you come out you lost like 30 life… AND THE ONLY THING YOU CAN SAY IS “i went into negative time”
For those wondering what the text in the Negative Time and Red on the Negative Time wheel, here you go. They are written in Latin. “Tu semper mortuus es in tempore meo” In Negative Time translates to “You are always dead in my time”, and “Red ad tuum minisculum Tempus” on the Red on the Negative Time wheel translates to “Return to your little Time”
for anyone wondering about the distorted text for negative time, it all has meaning: name of wheel: tu sempe (you always) wheel: red ad tuum minisculum tempus (return to your little time) words on -1 board: tu semper mortuus es in tempore meo (You are always dead in my time) when you take away the accents, it's in Latin :)
I was sitting here actively watching and paying attention the entire time. Somehow, I managed to follow along with what happened and simultaneously not have any clue what the hell just happened. Good content
14:42i imagine him running in, taking it throws it upwards and it becoming lighting, on the other side my guy chilling in the "pure time" then a lighting comes out of no where and takes a shop with it 17:28 then my guy be like "huh" and sits there and all of a sudden the time god himself just come out of a rift
Never in my life would I have guessed Jreg and Smallant to be in a collaboration, and that's not even mentioning the fact that it's held by Magic The Noah! And then the video is 40 minutes! Thanks man, you're really treating us with this one :)
SmallAnt understanding the rule of the Number Off battle so fast is impressive. I am pretty sure the point is to say the lowest number and Noah will guess it's the biggest number.
