We love trying itineraries and ships that are new to us! And on this one, it is our first Canada & New England Cruise and our first time on Norwegian's smallest cruise ship... NCL Sky.
This is a fabulous itinerary! 11 days starting in Baltimore, MD and ending in Quebec City, QE. We will make stops in Boston, MA; Portland, ME; Sydney, NS; Charlottetown, PEI; Baie Comeau, QE and Saguenay, QE... so many new places to see! And hopefully... some beautiful fall foliage!
We will also take you on a full tour of the ship which was completely refurbished in 2022... so it feels like we are on a new ship!

You should kill those Lantern Flies. They are very invasive and will start to lay eggs soon after growing their wings. Great to see you back on the ships once again. Will you be home for the new grandchild's arrival?

We absolutely love the Sky! Sailed her many times. One time we actually sailed on Super Bowl weekend. They showed the game in the theater on that big screen and brought in "football food" hot dogs, nachos, etc. So much fun!

Love the sky. Took her 3 times. The best was to Cuba. The best cruise and best port EVER. Cuba was amazing hope they start letting us go back there soon. And the smallness of the sky we live as well.

I was on the norwegian sky 9 day cruise from April 26th to May 5th 2023 I loved it I'm going in norwegian joy this upcoming march we went to Dominican republic Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 st martin and antuga plus st Thomas and great stirrup cay loved every minute of this ship ask the guy at Champs about the Bacardi guy

Hi, my wife & I’ll be taking the Sun out of Baltimore 12/9 through 12/21 to Caribbean. Will be 6th NCL voyage, 1st out of Baltimore, usually go out of NYC or Boston. Will be taking Amtrak from northern CT, instead of driving. Looking forward to a smaller ship, don’t need a zip line or go- karts, just a nice dance floor. FYI, am a nurse too, REALLY need this vacation.

Love seeing you return to cruising! In Sydney, go on an excursion/tour around the Cabot Trail. The scenery and colours right now should be breathtaking. Charlottetown, the capital of PEI is very pretty but to see the coastline of red rock and the home of Anne of Green Gables is memorable. And then, Quebec City - you will be immersed in our little piece of France. So much history in our beautiful country of Canada so I hope you both enjoy it. Can't wait to see your journey!

Really good run through of the NCL Sky and wished it was slightly a bit longer. However, missed information on the spa area and spoke nothing about the use of the sauna or cost. I imagine just getting familiar with the NCL Sky, you did not have time to explore everything on your first day. We really liked that you both decided to covered this particular cruising itinerary.

I just watched your ship tour of our beautiful Sky out of Baltimore MD. I had the pleasure of seeing you guys walking into the port to get checked in I was direction all passengers to the security lines and I turned to come meet you and that quick you were already through security and at the counter to check in. I was really hoping to say hello but I hope if you ever come through the Baltimore port again I will have the chance to meet you guys my name is Denise and I work for Norwegian in Baltimore. Those bugs are lanternflys. They attack trees and Maryland is having a hard time getting rid of them.

Yes, those are spotted lanternflies. They are destructive to trees, especially maple and fruit trees. The Pennsylvania Extension Office tells us to kill them, but they are FAST suckers. We spray our trees every night with the garden hose. It knocks them out of the tree and phases them long enough to swat them.

Seems like it’s all relative. A smaller ship obviously holds fewer people, but if every bed is full, the ratio is the same. Not like you have 2000 people on an Oasis class ship. That was very awesome during the restart.

So much pool and so much hot tub for a nice small ship. I miss the days when 2000 pax was more common. My favorite ship was the Pacific Princess with only 600 pax. I am digging the awnings over the hot tubs. Not that it's the case for this cruise, but it allows for more enjoyment of them in sunny climates.

I think it is more the length. It is an 11 day cruise and mostly retired folks have the time for this itinerary.

I really enjoy all your videos! The only thing I had a problem with is when you implied that Buffalo,N.Y. was not located on a lake. Buffalo,N.Y. is surrounded by Lake Erie. Over the past 20 years there is increased access to the lake. You also did a video on the Anchor Bar in Buffalo supposedly the home of the original Buffalo wings. The Anchor Bar is over rated and there are better places to get wings especially in the south tons. If you are ever in Buffalo again check out the 1st Ward of Buffalo where many bourbon breweries have opened on the water(lake Erie).Also check out Lucia's which is a nice Italian restaurant located across the street from Lake Erie

I always enjoy your videos. I cannot get over the fluidity of your videos when walking around the ship - like walking through the MDRs. Great job! We haven't been on an NCL ship in so many years but our favorite ship is the Island Princess and it also has only 2000 passengers. We're hoping to cruise in 2025 to Alaska again on her sister ship. We did a Canada & New England cruise from Quebec City to Fort Lauderdale in 2019 - loved that itinerary. Have fun J & A! :)

Nice itinerary but it is too bad there is no stop in Montreal, my birth city. I have to say you will love Quebec and the Saguenay. If there is an excursion for Île D’Orleans, it is worthy.

Interesting itinerary. Have not done one like it yet but it's on our radar. We recently did a Greenland / Iceland cruise on Celebrity that stopped in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland too. Awesome itinerary. I love the Caribbean cruises but you cant beat doing a more unique itinerary from time to time.

We found the smaller ships to feel more crowed in colder climates like British isles for example, especially when traveling in season with a lot of older people who sit at a bar all day, it is difficult to find a spot.

I'll be doing New England-Canada out of Boston next year on another line. The one-way itineraries look pretty attractive, so I'll be looking at those in future. As a life-long MA resident, I never realized cruise ships sometimes stop in Matha's Vineyard!

I took this trip a few weeks ago it was okay, I felt like they didn't know what they were doing. Not a lot of communication maybe because we were the first ship out of Baltimore (we went to Bar Harbor instead of Portland.) I didn't find that the food was consistently good There were many times where I would just leave the food and try to find something else edible. I had a whole bunch of other things happen to the point where I don't know if I need to take another cruise to get this experience erased for never ever travel with NCL again...😔

Oh about Martha's Vineyard was nice but it was a Sunday and we got it at 7 in the morning and most of the places didn't open until after 10 or 11 because it was Sunday. And we had to be back on the ship by 1 by tinder.
