Follow us as we board the world's biggest cruise ship, Royal Caribbean Icon of the Seas. We are in instant wonder at the beauty of this new ship. We have lunch at the Windjammer buffet. For the Maiden Voyage there is crab legs, filet mignon and lobster on the buffet! After filling our bellies we wander and explore a lot of the new neighborhoods on board. Chill and Thrill Islands, Central Park, Surfside, and of course the Promenade! Sailaway comes and we are sent off with a fireworks display! Even if it wasn't dark yet... For dinner we try the new AquaDome Market. It is so good and no extra charge! We have the first showing of the new stage show, The Wizard of Oz. Unfortunately due to technical difficulties it is cancelled for the night. They do show us a few of the song and dance numbers. We then head over to the Attic to watch 3 very funny comedians. The night ends with an epic Midnight Balloon drop in a packed Promenade! What an awesome day on an awesome ship!
