best BOC track for me. I dont know why but it always reminds me of an army of thousands of warriors riding on the backs of giant ancient flying turtles in the sky. I dont know why but it does
i remember about a decade ago when i first discovered boards of canada there was a skyliner music video with spirited away does anyone else remember that?
The first song I ever heard from Boards Of Canada way back in 2003. This track lay down the foundations to discovering their other tracks. Love their music, best listened to when your on that lonely drive down a quiet highway during the Civil Twilight Sunset.
or staring at stars and galaxies. The fact that there's a good probability we live in a 'black hole/white hole' is pretty mind blowing, in that the fact there's probably a fractalian enumerous versions of all our instances is somewhat reassuring.
I especially liked the ending of how you went through the whole loop of images again. It really adds to that intensity of that ending part of the song. Job well done. :P
I'd try it again and this time write it down on a little piece of paper that it's only a drug that to unwind my subconscious, and will wear off, comma for all the other science/spiritual to explain it.
Matt loves RU-vid, but, RU-vid evidently loves Matt. This video reminds me of that charming evening in which you unveiled it to myself, still resonates. When is the new stuff going up?
mmh2112 i wish ur comment wasn't so old so I could directly reply to you. but i feel you 100% that's my fav part of this beautiful song. those hi-hats are sooo sick
@KNIEBEL0815 being good and helping each other is hardwired into us. it's called empathy. (Okay, sociopaths lack this but that's a special case) In fact the squabbles over politics and religion is not due to our animal instincts, but due to conflicts over differences in our higher symbolic mental systems we've created for ourselves. The main mantra I believe and repeat, is that humans have massively more in common with each other, than differences. Never forget this.
