Such an amazing track. Totally divine. Love Boards of Canada and other trip hop/electronica acts like Massive Attack, Unkle, Amon Tobin, Tricky, DJ Krush, Allflaws

Welcome to America! Benjamin Franklin argued that America's national bird should have been the Turkey because: "the eagle is a bird of DUBIOUS MORAL CHARACTER." 😁🍻🤗
Ha! That was hot! Another great track. Back on Sunday, my wife msg'd me while walking our Cairn Terrier and mentioned a bald eagle had passed overhead. Just 5 seconds earlier, I had selected B's o C "EAGLE" from my playlist. Kinda cool
YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME WHEN I WAS LITTLE I WATCHED A VIDEO OF AN ABANDONED HOSPITAL WITH THIS SONG AND I LOST THE VIDEO. I HAVE LITERALLY BEEN SEARCHING FOR THIS FOR YEARS!!! I KNEW IT HAD THE WORDS CANADA AND BIRD AND I FINALLY FOUND IT YEESSSSS
The first 5 seconds of every BoC piece feel like a really cool friend who you haven't met in a while but ran into and now want to sit down and have a long chat with.
The videography captures and expresses in beauty the subconscious operations of the body....no thought present, just reflexive response..just the volition or idea to fly or a peripheral sense of movement triggering the desire to take flight..carried out at a speed that thought as we think of it is impossible. At this level lay treasures of the soul, the source of our fears and disorders as well as solutions maybe. We think too much feel too little trust our reason unduly compared to our instinct, balance being essential. The music slows our mind down just as the images are, so we might see what otherwise may go missed.
Yesterday about a dozen Chipping Sparrows landed in my backyard in Colorado. We don't mow, or really even weed, all the plants growing naturally. The sparrows, which are migratory, were in our yard and for about 45 minutes engaged in this fascinating action of jumping on a spent dandelion, thus weighing down the flower head, and then proceeding to pluck every single individual seed thread and eat them. Then moving own to various other weeds, fattening up I suppose to continue their long journey north. All the birds, male and female, doing this, while all singing and chirping and seeming pretty content. I think they like our yard after a long migration from southern climes because we don't mow it or put down weed killer or shit like that. Anyway I had a sense of deja vu, and went into my log I keep of random interesting stuff in a Word document on my computer, and on the exact same date, one year ago (May 15, 2020), I noted the same species arriving for the first time of the year and doing the exact same action of eating the dandelion seeds and fluff in our backyard, and then moving on because they were gone the next day. Birds are amazing. BTW I love this song.
Gives off a subtle eerie 'stranded in space vibe'. Trapped in a place, a place with unparalleled natural cosmic beauty; but a place you are alone and wont survive.
My favorite song of all time, all these years later. No other track has the ability to slow my heart rate down like this. Like hitting the reset button.
I thought this sounded familiar. Zayns song "its you" background music sounds somewhat similar to this. I wonder if they were inspired by y'all. I love listening to this one though ❤
Very nice video. It really sheds new light on something most of us willingly ignore on a daily basis. I really like the surfing bit at the end as well. It really reminded me of the Dayvan Cowboy music video, haha.

I could listen to it for 10 hours straight and never get bored. That subtle banjo playing feels so heartwarmingly peaceful, like bathing on a mildly dim sunset as fade asleep on your rocking chair on the porch.
Like a thief in the night. This music is the most significant and amazingly unapologetic stance on that phrase. They’d rather you stay asleep for the attack. Waking the prey up would be rather unsettling. So yeah… it’s better that way. Slow this bird down. All infinity in that one bird strike. Edit- make note- hesitant yet slow and steady as to take what you can
Just feels like they spent much time in a beautiful nature to me. :) Then had flow and created the tune.. This has old good calm memories... Almost feels like another life-time now.. Beautiful forest and weed.. Good friends and good times. :) I might find my way back to that feeling in the future again if i'm lucky, or that vibe..

Its the certain feeling that should capture you on this, speeding it up wouldn't be the same nor how the creators intended it.. try again to listen at the og speed
Geogaddi was considered a VERY dark and demonic album which makes sense as it was their answer to 9/11. In response to coming off as completely dark, the duo released Campfire Headphase. For a happier album this track breaks it up nicely.
Heard someone say that this song, and the name fit so well because it was like a sort of statement. taking the time and allowing yourself down for a moment of reflection.
