In the full recording of the show there's what seems to be an argument just before Aquarius. Where a really angry womon shouts "F**k Off!!" The followed by a guy shouting "You should be on stage!!"
@@CS-sf1rz just got into them after i heared them on john peel and saw then lighthouse old truman brewery and all tomorrows parties, the sound was loud and physical and the bootleg live things are good but of course dont capture it, there was a weird futuristic vibe at each of the gigs and a sort of chaos, i loved it, i cant understand why they havent done much since.... i waited years for new material ftom mark hollis of talk talk and the only news i got was when he died, i hope boards of canada dont follow same fate, but i guess i should be thankful and it sort of adds to the mystery , but if i was their manager id be giving em a good kick up the proverbial!
I am the same age as these guys and grew up in the same area of Western Canada while their dad was working on building the Saddledome. I suppose that means that I was exposed to the same physical experiences (indoor and out) as well as the same electronic media of the time. I feel fortunate for both the nostalgia and the sense of 'home' that I experience when I listen. They are by far my top hypothetical 'deserted island' choice.
I love this live version, more than the one on the album even. The melody is much more clear, which is a huge plus since I love that melody. Also the drums are a bit more dynamic.
I love the human element of this, they actually set the mix on the delay to high at the start which just makes this so good, little human mistakes are beautiful
I sold my left bollock for a BOC ticket & need to sell my right bollock for am M83 ticket...good job i've got a middle bollock!!....is that normal?..lol
