Another build video following the rebuild of the little Haines Hunter Seawasp. I am putting up these videos so people can get inspired or get some ideas or even just to see a glimpse of the amount of work in a rebuild. Enjoy 😉
Sure is a lot of work getting it right. I think I’ll stick with aluminium but the wasp sure is a nice boat. Wow a fish nipper, a sea wasp, 15hp and 30hp Mercury/ tohatsu. You have it all. 😊
Would love to a 60hp go on it, I’m just finishing my Haines v17l rebuild at the moment, very close to finishing. I’m already looking for a sea wasp for my next project, I’m ready for the itch again 🤣
@@user-jd6vs8rq2h Well done on your build mate 👌👌 Yep, the wasp is a classic, definitely a good one for you to get did your fleet 😁😁 Cheers 🍻 Aussie Boat Guy 😎
Thanks mate, I reckon When I’m done it will be about 40 - 50kgs heavier than the original hull. It will be over twice as strong though and hoping to put a 60 two stroke on. Cheers 🍻 Aussie Boat Guy 😎
Hi mate, I get my Thermolite board from CCA (constructive composites Australia) and my resins from Fiberglass International. cheers 🍻 Aussie Boat Guy 😎
