Boat Transport -Day 3- The Dismal Swamp! 

I just watched your Miami to Portland series and now I’m going through your old videos. At the end of this video when you saw the Hatteras and said you’d have one in 5 years I smiled because it happened so much more quickly for you. You should start a patreon like you said, I’m sure many people would support you. Your videos are wonderful and you seem like a very hard working, genuine person. Please keep making videos and the longer the better.

Terrific video, thanks for posting. You have probably done the Erie Canal already, so you know the locks in the Erie are LOCKS -- much, much bigger and more work than the small locks on the Dismal Canal. Great drone footage -- so interesting to see the Dismal Canal from overhead. Hope you are enjoying the Albin 32+2 -- we loved ours. It had some very clever design details. Super easy to move around the boat too.

I'm getting a new to me boat and I will be heading the other direction in October of 2022. It'll be a good adventure for me and my dog, Dash.

The Dismal Swamp wasn't "dug by slaves", as he says. The Dismal Swamp Canal was constructed with slave labor though.

It's weird seeing all of the places I've lived. I've lived in Deep Creek, Military Blvd. Chesapeake, Port Norfolk Portsmouth just in this video. I've lived a few places in NC you went to or by. I can't live further than a bicycle ride from water preferably salt water. It's really cool seeing everything from the water as I didn't much boating except for various summer festivals. Stay safe.
