Boating from Newport Beach to Dana Point in a 21' Sea Ray 

It's a direct shot, but you do have to stay offshore when you get near Dana Point to avoid the rocks. Head for the buoy out from the rocks. Have fun!

It usually takes about 30 minutes to get there from Newport Harbor.

This is a great video , I can’t wait to get a boat a do the same with my Family. I’m thinking of renting a boat a few times before purchasing. Ideally something I can use in salt water and fresh since we have a home in Lake Arrowhead. Any suggestions?
