Relates to The Price is Right, I had first the comment as disrepectful. But my bad, I now get it. I was hoping Bob Barker would live to celebrate his 100th birtdhay. Sadly, Betty White did not live to see her 100th birthday either. RIP both of them.
And we heed his call at the end of each hourly show,"For The Price Is Right this is Bob Barker here to remind you to help control the pet population. Have your pets spayed or neutered - good-bye, everybody!". Absolutely iconic!
Thank you for protecting our freedoms and wildlife. Your contributions within the entertainment industry are well noted by millions. You win! The Gate is open. Godspeed.
IKR? I used to watch the show summers when I was off from school, when we had school vacation or if I was home sick. All in the '70's. I loved TPIR when Bob hosted it. I got a big kick out of Johnny too!
That was a great report. Bob is a national treasure that will never be replaced & I’ll miss him dearly. Another part of my childhood that’s gone from me. Rest in Peace Bob Barker 🙏🏽❤️
I was often checking online about him to see him talking , RIP. couple of years ago I saw an article saying he has said I am ready to die . So sad , but he lived a full happy life
Rest in peace Mr Bob Barker. You were always and will always be a part of the family. Your show is the one that I've rewatched most. Even just the audio from the show which I'd listen to in class with hidden headphones :) :) So many amazing memories are linked to watching and or listening to your shows, like actual everyday things always remind me of you. Thanks for the memories Mr Barker, your legend will live on and on.
I’m so sorry about that but I feel so eternally grateful that bob Barker who is an amazing person and has been the host THE PRICE IS RIGHT For 35 years and his 50 year career!!! God bless you and see you on the other side of the journey!!! Rest in peace!!!!
I always loved Bob Barker as a kid, along with Rod Roddy in the 1990s and early 2000s. It's iconic that Bob Barker passed away 20 years after Rod Roddy passed away. I remember Happy Gilmore came out in 1996. Johnny Olsen was one of the first announcers of The Price is Right and other game shows, before I was born. RIP Robert William Barker. 🙏🏽❤😢
❤️😭🙏🏾 Awww, "I loved The Price Is Roght" show & he is such a humble man. This one hits hard, & we gonna miss you so much. My love to his family & I'm praying for you all. 🙏🏾😭❤️
It saddens my heart to hear of Bob Barker's passing. Indeed, he remains an enduring memory in my heart. I recall hearing how college students often planned their college classes around "The Price Is Right." I was one such student when I entered college in 1980 and I distinctly remembered the fall of 1980 when I was a freshman. My classes finished each day--Monday through Friday at 11 a.m. I would rush back to my dormitory--actually run. Lucky for me my professors usually dismissed us five minutes before the end of class and it took approximately five more minutes to get to my dormitory room. As fast as I could, I was on the television on channel 2 watching "The Price is Right." This tradition continued throughout the 90's and as much as I could I would watch it, and/or video tape it so that when I came home from school (became a school teacher) and taught college as well. I will miss him. He is a living legend; an icon who will be sorely missed.
I love Bob Barker.. Watching him for years in the price is right. Thank you for all those hours of entertainment. You truly will be missed. 😢 May your soul rest in peace 🙏 🕊
His gameshow antics was one highlight of his career to be cherished not to mention his love for animals. For the last decade he always set the record straight. He can riddle n make practical jokes. I've always loved his performance. TPIR was his home n dream come true. If there was a true motivator n mentor it was him. Thanks Bob Barker 1923-2023 RIP
He is the greatest man.. ❤ he's personality.. my condolences to the families and friend's.. he inspired a lot of people's.. my honor to salute you Bob.. I know you're keep watching us down.. Rest in peace...
Ah man, four more months and he would’ve made history. RIP Double B, he was #1 in my top 10 greatest game show hosts ever; Alex Trebek (Jeopardy), Pat Sajak (Wheel of Fortune), Marc Summers (Double Dare), Steve Harvey (Family Feud), David Ruprecht (Supermarket Sweep), Dick Clark (Pyramid), Mike O’Malley (Nickelodeon Guts), Kirk Fogg (Legends of the Hidden Temple), and #10 being Omar Gooding (Wild & Crazy Kids).
WOW I didn't even know he died. I would have thought NBC Nightly News would have mentioned it since he was such a long time TV fixture, but they didn't. Hopefully, instead of Johnny saying 'come on down' God said 'Bob Barker! Come on up!' ✝
Well, Public Broadcasting Services had the same time those Mondays through Fridays. 11:00 am Eastern time zone was 10:00 am, etc. Company Broadcasting Services did The Price is Right, and PBS had Sesame Street.
OCT 19,1981 MY 10TH B-DAY- YOUR WIFE PASSED THAT DAY BOB! YOUR THE BEST OF ALL YOUR WITH YOUR WIFE NOW IN A BETTER PLACE ALL MY LOVE ED IN CT! GOD I HATE THAT DIMWIT WE HAVE NOW
Goddamn smh, I was just thinking about Bob Barker and was looking forward to him celebrating his 100th birthday rip Bob Barker i really enjoy the Price Is Right when you were hosting it 🙏🏽.
If Dick Van Dyke (who has nothing to do with The Price is Right) dies, I will watch his goofy show as a marathon. No wonder he was younger than Bob Barker.
As happens to us all…. We gradually fade from view and significance…. Then we die. those of us who fondly remember Bob Barker are following not so far behind
