Don’t fall apart on me tonight
I just don’t think that I could handle it
Don’t fall apart on me tonight
Yesterday’s just a memory
Tomorrow is never what it’s supposed to be
And I need you, yeah

I am approaching 90, and Bob Dylan music had been my go-to and chief comforter since my early days as eager immigrant for American culture. Hooked to Bob since his music was a staple at New York radio station WBAI, and I’m now reliving the old days over the current offering on RU-vid!

J'en suis plus que convaincu ! Oui!

Hum 🤔 - I think somewhat differently than as you put it. In my honest 70ish y.o. opinion think we’re lucky 🍀 to have been born during the Baby Boomer generation years and being exposed to Dylan and similar artist’s music. Not to be ‘living within his lifetime’ doesn’t seem to matter these days when we have YT and other sites where everyone in the 🌎 has access to the artists/music from ALL years and genres. The REAL question should be ‘when time will finally claim US’!?

At 11 years old I met Bob D. In 1964. All thru the years - he has been such an enormous influence in my life - both musically and as a Human Being. His dry wit and humor , plus his integrity, and depth of his soul - had such a positive impact. on me at such an early age. His kind , good heart and wise guy attitude grabbed my heart by 14. I was amazed but not surprised at the pure genius when I first heard about this song... The Musicians ,the lyrics ,the combination of musicians, the tempo. It just reminds me of how strong a person must have to be to have withstood s career such as his has been and to still be going strong. It's been a real trip - as they say....! Bob D....you are a remarkable being. And I feel an enormous amount of gratitude for all you have done for me and for My life. Thank you so much!
