No one says that about Dana Andrews, Bob Cummings, and Joel McCrea. They all have children by then. Orson Welles, Frank Sinatra, Joseph Cotton, meanwhile, did not and seem to be forgiven for it. Yes, the Duke may have overstated his patriotism. But he didn't bad mouth America. I miss having guys like him around.
