Instant chills down my whole body as soon as he opens his mouth!! Bob Marley is definitely in my top 5 favorite artists of all time!! If I could bring 1 artist back to life, it would 💯 be him! ❤
Bob Marley was a human masterpiece of grace, love & spirit. His work offered more than just music. He offered light to people who often had little. His lyrics & sound are undeniable. He was a beautiful genius. Appreciations for sharing.
Oh, I love the backstory to this song. Bob was in Stockholm and he ran into Rita's father who was a taxi driver there. Bob called Rita to let her know that he had seen her dad and she started to cry, hence the birth of this song. "No Woman, No Cry."
....and the collection of brilliant, talented musicians called "The Wailers" (pre and post departure of Bunny Wailer and Peter Tosh) along with "The I-Threes" is one of the greatest ensembles of artists ever, of any genre of music. They were phenomenal. R.I.P. to all of the dearly departed.
In 1977 a friend invited me to see Bob Marley in LA. He is in a class by himself. No comparison. To this day when I describe my experience at the Bob Marley concert. It was a religious experience. His sprit left his body and filled the air. The place was filled with love, kindness, joy and happiness. I've never experienced this at a concert before or since. Thank you, Bob. RIP.❤
I was a touch too young for this. Went to my first gig a year later. But I was lucky enough to see Marley 3 years after this on the Uprising tour. He held a crowd in the palm of his hand for almost 2 hours. Less than a year later he was gone. I count myself privileged to have managed to see him in the flesh before the end.
I got introduced to Marley at the age of 14 during a mission trip to the Cayman Islands. Been a fam ever since with a feeling of peace every time I hear him. Still a fan of reggae.
Just saw your comment, and I had to tell you it has done the same thing with that song for over the last 40 years, I always turn it on when I'm struggling, and it just comfort to know that everything is going to be alright! So keep doing it! ❤️💚💛🖤
I grew up listening to Bob’s music! He is 1 in a million! ❤ It makes you wonder what artists the youth will look back on in this time in history & what messages the artists are spreading now… 🤷🏻♀️ Music has always been a force! I just wish there were more like Bob Marley on this Earth today!!! ❤ I’ll be playing his music til the day I die… ✌🏼🥰
what a voice he had, you beed to listen to stir it up an buffalo soldier amazing songs, to have lived as a teen when all these brill songs came out what a time to be alive.
Bob Marley is probably the most influential artist of all time because people play his music all over around the world,he die 43 years ago and he still relevant.. Descansa en paz maestraso Jamaicano ✊✊
Bob Marley is hands down my favorite artist, I have 2 beautiful pieces of art of him on my wall lol my son has Bob Marley lyrics on his body. So needless to say I can't wait to go see the new movie about his life, and hopefully I will learn something new, that I already researched. Thanks for the share. ❤️💚💛🖤🖤💛💚❤️
Grew up with Bob Marley in my late teens in the 70's. I was obsessed with him. It wasn't summer without Bob Marley. I've been to Jamaica 6 times, toured the museum, his house. Bob Marley is legend.
My partner took her 11 year old granddaughter to the Theater last night to watch a Bob Marley Biopic. Soon as someone hears his music they are fans for life
The Rainbow always had the greatest names in the 70s. And yes, I will never understand why people can't smash the LIKE button, we put the foodwork and long hours in so at least have some courtesy to reward it.- Thanks BP, always a pleasure. ☮
I 100% agree about the like button. If I watch a video all the way through, then I automatically like it, its habit now and literally takes a second, costing a simple mouse click. Never understood why people can't offer that little courtesy, even more so if they're subscribers and thus probably watch regular videos from that content creator 🤷🏻♂
oh my my. I just happen to be awake at 1:48 am est - I love this song . 😊 Love from Lisa the lyme warrior 🦠💚 This my fave Bob Marley song. Also a new movie is coming out about Bob Marley soon - Bob Marley is such an iconic legend 💚💚💚 If you do more Marley, I will be there Also totally agree this performance is soooooo spirit filled. What a loss to the world but heaven gained a beautiful soul 😢
Marley is a legend, and had an influence on some other legends. Eric Clapton covered "I Shot the Sheriff" and the Police picked up a lot of that reggae vibe as well.
I have the bootlegs from 3 of Marley’s last concerts to include his last concert in Pittsburgh PA. My brother was there and still carries the ticket stub in his wallet.
Rastafarian Nutty Dread My mums younger siblings went to Bob Marley & the Wailers, they still have all their concert tickets in Photo Album….. ❤️ from New Zealand 🇳🇿 I’m 50 now my aunties are still going hard & in September IRON MAIDEN is gracing our little shores , got our tickets 🎫 UP THE IRONS & JAH RASTA JAMAICA 🇯🇲
My favorite artist of all time. When I was a teen, we used to go around and Tag things all around South NJ and Philly. My tag was “Bob is God”. So if you saw that Tag in that area from ‘90 on, that was me. He never gets enough Love for his greatness. The people trying to do evil never take a day off, so neither can I
Bob was a Virologist, he believed he could change the world with music. He was EXTREMELY spiritual and before death gave his life to Jesus through the oldest Christian church in the world - from Somalia… which also is where most of Rastafarianism stems from.
We learned to feel the music it’s a Rastafarian way of life ,, music in is the soul light one up and sit back and feel it ,, we love the world everything in it people are just so beautiful like life ❤️💛💚🇬🇭 and remember if you chase numbers you will never fine happiness,, because money can’t buy life
Bob Marley was one of those rare artists whose music transcends race colour & whatever you belive in. He brought people together. He was a rastafarian that talked of peace & love for all. Listen to his song."One Love". Let's get together an it'ill be alright. I heard what you were saying B P. People getting together in peace & love. Is a dangerous thing for some. Bob was shot too because of his political views it was said 🤔
Side note it makes me extremely happy that you keep on bringing up Jim Morrison and the doors him and Bob are my 2 favorite artists and the fact that you mention them together floors me❤
Yo, first off congratulations on everything it's been fun watching this channel grow. You have officially become a metal head. We just jam and appreciate.
Got to see Bob,Bunny and Peter The Original Wailers not together but in there own shows. My most listened to LP of all three is Bunny Wailer's Rock N Groove. Nice Sounds. Miss all 3 of them!
I have to agree with you about that buddy,,losing all these treasures so, so early….. Bob, Jimi, Janice, Jim Morrison, SRV, Holly, Cline, Croce, Winehouse, Valenz…so many more..my heart still aches. But then my mind gets blown with Bob Dylan, Billy Joel, Willie Nelson, Paul Simon, Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, Don Henley…just to name a few..and I’m grateful. You know what I mean? ❤️🔥
Incredible - heard him n Irish radio the day before one of his last concerts. His accent was new to me - but understood his references and reverence for ‘herb’ more than the presenter. Legend. On the 6th of July, 1980, Bob Marley played the now historic concert at Dalymount Park on Dublin's north side, at that time the home of the soccer club Bohs. Rumours abound that Bob had a kickaround before the concert. Check out Bob Marley bohemians football shirt. Google. BP - pure class.
Legend, his music transcends time. As you mentioned about mysterious deaths, you should check out the 27 club it gives you a list of famous artists who all died at 27.
🔥🔥🔥 just went to see the new Bob Marley One Love film. If whats in the film is right i believe the backing singer he had his arm around in the beginning of the perfromance is Rita Marley his wife ❤
I started listening to Bob Marley when I was 18 years old, great music is timeless, all these years later, I still listen to him at times, with alot of current music as well. , glad you featured this! So good BP!
Duuuude. You gotta check out the band Skindred. Either "Rate Race" or "Nobody." You've been on the metal/rock journey and they're a fusion of Raggae and Metal. You won't be disappointed.
