All jokes aside, even though the guy has no technique at all, just goes head first like a bull, you at least have to give him credit for having the courage of getting in the ring and fight freaks of nature. I practiced martial arts for 8 years, have some contests under my belt, i am infinitely more skilled than bob sapp, but i am not really sure i would walk in the ring with that man, even though he sucks, the guy must have some power in his punches, at least against some one at 1.83 CM and 110 KG
The sweet science: the sophisticated interplay of footwork, head movement, distance, balance, feints, rapier sharp jabs, fast combinations - and always the subtle psychological game in the background. A delight to watch.
The bigger one gets the harder the cardio becomes. The heart has to work much harder to pump blood to irrigate all these muscles. No matter how much cardio he would do, it will seem always not enough.
@@yurifrommw215 you are butt hurt from the legend Khabib 😂 U You should never mention his name here in a video of Bob Sapp fight of you really knows about MMA
The fact that Bib even went the distance with this man mountain and survived makes him a winner in my book. Bib was fearless and clearly took the fight to this Goliath and rocked him on numerous occasions
This wasn't about techniques it was about raw naked power looking aestically good goes out the window when you're fighting someone of such immense height and weight who also can hit lime a wrecking ball. Bob showed tremendous heart and warrior spirit by taking the fight to his opponent
This is somehow my favorite mma fight. These two are clearly underskilled, and they fight with pure brute strength. They're not fighting to get points (i don't think they even know how to) they just wanna knock each other out. This day and age, i really miss that.
It's so fucking frustrating how this big freak can't even throw a decent punch. It's just like when you fight in a dream and can't use your whole power because something is holding you back.
"... It's just like when you fight in a dream and can't use your whole power because something is holding you back." omg perfect example!!! I have that feeling in my last dream
Shit, I had those dreams. Lmao. I punch as hard as I can but it feels like I'm underwater. It's because your body gets paralyzed in real life to stop you from acting out your dreams.
These guys are slow but i can't imagine how powerful these hits are. Choi weighs 350+. Bob weighs 330. HUGE weight difference and a height difference as well.
Choi comes from ancient Korean wrestling where people used to wrestle a cow as training. He used to be able to pick up another 300lb man and throw them on the ground when he was Korea Ssireum champion. I saw on this talk show, Hong Man Choi shattered a fairly large size apple with just one squeez with his left hand.
big muscles do that to ya. You can exert a lot of energy in a short burst but It takes a while to recover and the way that Sapp would freak out when he was getting hit didn't help. People like him would benefit from more of a defensive yet stalking type of approach.
@@MikeJones-rk1un If you're that big you're going to blow your tank within 30 seconds. Any smart + good fighter can destroy a giant man. The optimal fight weight for a big guy has and will always be around 100-120kg depending on height. No room for big muscles or body fat or giant heights in a sport where you will gass out within seconds and end up being picked apart. It should go without saying that it's impossible to get cardio when you're big and it's got nothing to do with training, but I see comments like this all over yt. Do you think it's just a coincidence that cardio athletes (marathon, 500m+ etc.) are simply skin and bones? Muscles need oxygen and the heart can only pump so much. Muscles will build lactic acid right away when the pulse goes up and that's what you see here. They can barely even walk after a short amount of time because their muscles have built up lactic acid.
Caracaaaa que foda. Nunca tinha visto esse lutador Coreano. Reparem na respiração do Bob em toda luta e na hora do anúncio de sua derrota. Coisa de louco, parece que seus órgãos vão saltar haha
they both look like by the time they launch their first attacks, they're already tired... they're just as slow by the end of the fight as they are at the beginning!
This fight may not obviously be the best one in terms of the dexterity in the technics of punches & kicks, but in terms of the content of entertainment, two giants, Choi, hong-man being 7'2" & Bob Sapp being 6' 7" fighting for their pride & prize money, this was enjoyable & I was greatly entertained!!. Anyone else think the same w/ me? Pls let me know,,,,Thanks. (3/12/22)
Agilidade zero, mas a potência dos golpes impressionante luta bem paga para os espectadores, muito privilégio pra que viu, percebi também que o cansaço estava visível nos dois mas lutaram bravamente, muito bom esse lutadores tão de parabéns.
He left South Korea and lives in Japan now cuz he hates Korean society. He said "When I was in Korea, if I lost a match, I would be attacked many Koreans on the internet and media and everyone would be cold to me. As a result, I have social anxiety disorder. I live in Osaka now, and everyone is so kind and supportive of me."
So he has been taunted & mocked by his own people upon having lost a match. Hence he has been humiliated by S. Koreans on the internet, which led him to contract & suffer from " Anxiety Disorder ", OMG, that is terrible of the people!!! I totally believe you though!! I am pitiful & sorry for Hong-Man Choi. Btw, Osaka, Japan , has the most Korean-Japanese population, & thus I do have the sympathy & empathy for him,,,,,Thanks for that valuable piece of information,,,,,Have a great day ,& stay away & healthy amidst the dire predicament of Omicron virus rampaging worldwide or pandemic.,,,,,,,From the USA. Hong Man Choi too! I think it is the first time I see Sapp's opponent more tired than him, watch at the end of the 3rd round, Choi can't even raise his arms up. I felt tired for them.
Sapp's heart endured to the end that time. And not only allowing him to stand as to exhibit a level of offensiveness quite unusual for his background. The korean giant clearly intended to infuriate and render him exhausted quickly, but got very tired himself once Bob's cardio perform exceeded everybody expectations. Though at great cost, the tactic eventually succeeded.
5:37 he gives another punch at sapp after the referee got inbetween them and then the ref looks at sapp and shakes his head like no that didnt happen LOL
this is like watching two drunk guys brawl... its as if theyre telling each other "hold on a sec, lets get some air for a sec... and keep going" its totally bizarre..... but entertaining
I find it hilarious all the people like you sitting on the couch talking shit about 2 fighters that got in there and faught ...u wouldnt last 10 seconds with one of them "drunk guys" lol 😂
Bob actually looked like he was trying to legitimately fight here, kind of makes you wonder what his record would be if he didn't throw so many fights.
You are right, Sapp could have done a good fighting career, but he wouldn't made as much money as he did throwing fights and he would have recieved much more injuries. Money and Dishonor or Pain and Dignity, you choose.
