Background dancers dont get enough credit, its always about the star for obvious reasons but i liked the fact that Bobby gave his dancers a little shine on stage b/c they were killing it! Loved the energy
Dunno if anyone cares but if you are stoned like me during the covid times then you can stream pretty much all the new series on InstaFlixxer. Been binge watching with my gf during the lockdown =)
It's not easy to sing and dance at the same time like he just did, and Bobby crushed it! I still remember watching this with my mom and brother when it 1st aired.
I love how Bobby knew the entire choreography routine, would go off and do his Bobby thing, and jump right back into the routine with his two dancers. I remember watching this as a kid and then listening to my Bobby Brown cassette on my walkman right afterwards.
The bad boy of R & B!! Hands down NOBODY was f'n with Bobby in his prime. Period!! Dancing, singing, and his stage presence! He REALLLLY knew how to control the crowd/work the crowd. Not standing in 1 place with 50 ppl on the stage yelling into the mic. He gave you a SHOW!!! 97% of today's artists could NEVER perform at this level!
I'd rather see an artist, just like Bobby here, singin' half the words and running out of breath, while still dancing ,than watch these lipsyncin' phonies with their headset mics any day of the week. Great performance! ENERGY
@@WaitingForTheHook 5 years later Ariana is now squealing instead of singing while doing booty shakes. She had the potential, but she decided to throw it away to become a rapper
I will be the first to admit that the day it was announced that Bobby Brown was leaving New Edition to pursue a solo career, I thought he was crazy! Boy was I wrong; that young man bet on himself and won! A great entertainer, and great solo artist and career! My apologies for underestimating Mr. Bobby Brown! More than anything else I continue to pray for his strength in the face of all the tragedies in his life! 🎤🙏✌❤💪
Yes he was. Now he don't look like he ever looked like that. Amazing. Well battle with drugs. Bless his heart. He's Blessed to still be here. Yeah! Bobby in his Prime!
People Can Hate ALL THEY WANT But Bobby Was The Man...Check This...Solo Artist After Bobby Stole Bobbys Style Artists Like...Timberlake, Usher, Bieber, Sisqo, Mario, Chris Brown Just To Name A Few. Not Only Did They Take Bobby's Style But Took Michael Jackson's as Well. BUT HOLD ON, PEEP THIS...BOBBY NEVER TOOK A JACKSON MOVE... ITS ALL BOBBY!!! Hate The Comment If U like But U Know I'm Right! Bobby Paved The Way For ALOT OF Male Solo Artist With His Style.
+pashaun Pride One song dude... U can't touch this..WTF.. One dance move as well. Front foot back..Back foot front...To compare them is crazy. Show me a better performer, with the moves, the skill, the looks, and the energy...BB has yet to be beaten.
+Valles075 Hammer definitely had way more hits than "U Can't Touch This" and definitely has a wide repertoire of dance moves. He had stage presence and he definitely had the energy that made you want to get up and dance. One of the best! Along with Bobby.
Bobby was so disciplined...Nobody can deny that!! You can't possibly move like that saturated with chemicals...They say he was a bad boy...maybe so, but i don't believe the true 'bad influence' was him. I think it was the other way around (if you know what I mean)...But he always took the blame anyway..that's true love and knighthood...Not judging, though it is a sickness, either way...God bless Bobby Brown.
this is complete greatness! stage presence was unbelievable, wish i could've gotten the chance to see him in person when he was in his prime because this is just incredible!
Thats the BB i remember!! So much energy and a great peformer... brings back memories.. sad his ego and drug use snatched all that talent...He still deserves the be acknowledged as one of the best...
he knew he was bad back in them days. look at how he just fell into the dance steps in the beginning...dude was on his shit for real. bobby brown and michael jackson were killing it.
HELL TO DA YEAH!!...classic...back when performers PERFORMED!!!.....and I'm writing this in 2017!!!...man. I miss those days and more importantly, the for real GOOOOD music!!
What a live performance. I imagine turning on the TV in 2013 and seeing a performance like this. It's very difficult to even imagine. How long has it been since you saw a late night audience actually "groove" on a song. Especially with the energy demonstrated here. What top 40 artist of today could match this? I genuinely don't think there is one. Don't say Jay-Z, or Timberlake, or Alicia Keys. They may be popular, but in honesty they couldn't burn down the house like this. Am I wrong?
